Got these for 8 year olds drawings to keep safe from younger sibling. The color matches the picture. It's pretty thick and heavy. Was actually surprised with the quality. I haven't hung them yet so I can't speak for hanging abilities yet. But they're a great value. My son loves them. I put his drawings in there and it's cold here so he's been putting dead butterflies in it.
