For most of us only a few times in life do we see or experience a product that is superior. This Andis clipper is one of them. You can just tell, from the size, the weight, the balance, the precision of manufacture -- even the sound it makes -- that this is a truly perfect product that is engineered and manufactured to the highest standards. It reminds me of American made products from decades ago, when usability, durability and affordability were the priorities instead of making something cheap, flashy, and will self-destruct in a couple of years. These clippers are more like a surgical instrument than an affordable hair trimmer. Truly a masterpiece.

I bought 6 yesrs Andis pro slim (corded/cordless) at beauty show i did pay over $100 bit it still works.This piece of 💩 model is total garbage,I bought one few months ago already doesnt work (green light on charhing station only comes up for few seconds, then goes off likecots chatged, but the machine doesnt turn on). So i threw in a garbage.I bought second one couple weeks ago started doing exactly the same thing after only couple uses!!!!Cheap parts, poor design…

They are pretty sharply and smooth and get the job done

The unit we received had to be sent back since it was rusted. Normally, they are quite good. My wife is a professional stylist and likes this particular unit due to its slim, light weight, and easy to use features. The battery, despite being lithium Ion, does not seem to make it on the long haul. Also the head seems to have issues later on in its life. She does do the maintenance and lubrication regularly as she has been in the business a long time and knows the importance of taking care of her equipment. All-in-all I gave it four stars since equipment does not last forever and constant use in a professional salon puts a load on anything. I would definitely buy another one of these. I hope there will be a better model one of these days that does a better job of managing the battery.

Big upgrade over WAHL

I had a cheapo walmart set of clippers for a while. I tried cutting my hair without the plastic guards and it didn't go well...Looked online to see what the best brands for cordless clippers were. No one was mentioning these (mostly paid for lists and SEO/advertising I'm sure). I asked my barber which one i should consider and they directed me to these.Wow, they are a step up in every conceivable way!I messed up and over lubricated the blades. That caused hair to get stuck between them. But luckily it's extremely easy to disassemble for cleaning. They are lightweight but the battery lasts a long time. Pretty powerful for the size and weight. Get some free stickers, too.I have little doubt they will last me a long time.

Great little trimmer. Does exactly what it needs to, probably better than a lot of other ones out there especially for the price. The only issue is even keeping it dry and following the oiling recommendations the blades pitted and rusted within the first 2 weeks. It's still usable but is a little unsettling bringing something with rust up against my skin.

Ive had this for 6 months now, didn’t write the review sooner because of procrastination but believe me when i tell you i would of done it sooner this clipper sucks i use it 2-3 times a month at most last time i tried charging it wouldn’t even turn on after, hitting it slightly and going back and forth on the button it. barely leaves a clean shave after many passes and feels like it has no power after using it for 15 minutes honestly just buy the 25-30$ ones they last the same and even work better sometimes or buy a 150 ones depending on your budget.
