Good but not great
My nephew enjoyed using this for a short amount of time but it didn’t engage him as much as it could have. Requires an adult to keep interaction going.

Doesn’t magnify much
My kid was mildly into this, and enjoyed the descriptions, but it doesn’t have very powerful magnification at all. And the slides are honestly not that engrossing in my opinion. I got a super super cheap microscope with higher magnification and he’s spent way more time with that.

A very good robust first microscope but it is a bit limited both in zoom and features - but it's very very easy to use and accessible for a younger audience.
