The plastic is nice and thick. My 12 pound dog was damaging both my walls and door. It sticks well and has stood up to her scratching thus far. Not sure it comes off cleanly or not, but it is working so far.

I have a cat who positively adores destroying every single doorframe in my home. Every other day, I used to hear my little four-legged headache decide to take out whatever mood he's in out on the doorframe. It was so bad at one point, I had to go for broke and replace the wood due to it looking like Taz the Tasmanian Devil had at it! But with this tape? I've had it on for nearly three years solid and it still has a fantastic holdfast! It adheres quickly and cleanly, clear and doesn't clash with any color or material like wood or drywall. It's the perfect width for most home doorframes, having great coverage where he can't get a grip at any angle! Thick enough to cover, not too bulky or long where it would get caught in the doorway. For what this tape has saved me in future expenses, it's absolutely worth it!

I've heard a lot of people say that this is like clear tape and while I agree partially I think that it is more like clear tape with gorilla glue on the back. And the reason I say that is because I put it on my wall to protect the surface behind my cat food. I rent and I wanted to be able to wipe down the surface easily without taking the paint off of the wall. In renter's apartments often times they use flat paint which is really difficult to clean without wearing down the paint. So I figured this would be a good option so that I could wipe the area down without ruining the pain. When I tried to apply it, it was impossible to apply and when I went to remove one corner of it so that I could get the bubbles out, it took the paint right off the wall. I absolutely am going to lose my security deposit when I go to remove the entire thing when I leave. I am flabbergasted. When you look at the pictures above it shows that if you put it on a door that when you go to peel it off that it comes off in perfect condition without damaging the door. That is absolutely unequivocally not true. Very deceiving. This product should have a warning letting everybody know that it is not removable without damaging the door or the wall or the furniture underneath of it. In fact, this product should not even be sold other than to sell it as a tape to ship important items. I will be sending this back because I'm still within my 30 days with this note attached.

Easy to use, sticks very well. Personally wish it was matte rather than shiny. Used around legs of my table that my cat apparently likes to scratch. So far so good.

Got this to cover part of my door trim to keep my cat from scratching! So far, so good. Easy to use and sticks well.

The adhesive stickiness made it difficult when trimming and preparing for the door frame. The pieces would stick together and were not able to pull apart. I only had a few square inches that I was able to use.
