Used to vent out the heat in the sun room, It quickly draws out the heat and it works perfectly.

I installed the fan today. The product functions as expected with 3 fan speeds, a thermostat and on/off switch. However, there are a couple of things that buyers should be aware of: 1). The product description says this 12" fan delivers 960 CFM air flow. The specifications that came with the fan indicates a max performance of 772 CFM air flow, a significant difference. 2) the fan must be installed on the inside of the wall. That means that if it is installed on a wooden structure or some place that must have a water-tight seal, then it will need additional material that is not included with the product. It would be helpful if the unit came with a prefitted flange/flashing material that is made to create this water-tight seal. It would be simple to do and it would save the installer hours of running down additional material at Home Depot, as well as additional money. That process was the most irritating of all. I hope this thing lasts a long time. I'll see.

Absolutely great product, it does what is supposed to. Room is a lot cooler, did help a lot. Highly recommended 👌

Thought I’d try this fan in the garage ceiling since I didn’t want to cut a hole in the side of the house. louvres open up just fine with the fan horizontal. I just built a box for the fan to fit in and placed in the attic between the joists. Picked up a 14”x14” vent cover at Home Depot for $17 & mounted it on a furring strip frame. Love the thermostat & 3-speed pull chain switch. Besides keeping the garage cooler, it pushes the hot attic heat out the roof vents… kill two birds with one stone!

I bought this Aug 2024. Thermostat works great but fan still ran a lot considering it was summer in a garage. It’s now Nov 2025 and the fan is dead. The motor will not turn on. All it does is hum.
