My go to, try it out.
** I bought a Pink one and it did come wrinkled, however I used PVA glue and pressed the book cloth with the side of a bone creaser and it flattened out perfectly. See photo.****This is the second color I get, I ordered the Navy blue. I love how easy the backing sticks, the color is spot on, it’s so easy to use and cut (used a paper cutter). 👈🏻bonus point for working with that. Theres plenty in the roll to fit your project and more, the quality feels nice and durable, the price is decent for what you get. My heat transfer vinyl went on smoothly, i recommend lint rolling your book prior to attaching vinyl. Over all I love this product!

Great for the price
I picked up this book cloth for a few DIY binding projects, and overall it’s been a solid choice. The fabric has a nice suede-like feel that looks more premium than I expected, and the texture makes finished covers look clean and classic rather than cheap. The size is generous enough to wrap most books or albums without struggling to stretch it, which I appreciated. Cutting and gluing the cloth was straightforward, and it adhered well with standard bookbinding glue (Elmers). It’s lightweight but still feels sturdy enough once on the cover, giving my projects a crisp, finished look without adding a lot of bulk. It’s not perfect — if you’re expecting a very thick or canvas-style cloth, this is thinner and a little smooth, so it might not suit every project. But for the price and versatility, it’s great for everything from scrapbooks to homemade journals. If you’re into bookbinding or craft covers and want a classic black cloth that’s easy to work with, this delivers good results without being finicky.

This matches the cover material on some books that are made from magazines years ago.I am pleased.

Affordable and looks good as long as you are careful
I've bought this product in 5 different colors at this point (black, purple, dark green, dark blue, and grey) and I've yet to have an issue with any of them. Really good for novice binders such as myself. Yes the material is thin and yes half the time it does arrive looking wrinkled, but I've bound 7 books overall and I have never had an issue of glue showing through (even the lighter colors) or of a wrinkle showing. I use standard pva and that works great with this. Basically every time I work with it I think "oh this isn't going to look good" and then I finish and it looks great. So don't get scared off by it's appearance in it's roll; be careful with your glue and make sure you are using your folder to smooth things down! It'll all work out in the end.

Beautiful color. True to the photo.
Why did you pick this product vs others?: The right shade of brick red. Softness: the texture was the cherry on top. Quality: The thickness of the paper held up to the book repair process....perfect weight.

Pretty but poorly package
The product is a decent product, however the shipping of this product is so bad that it comes damage, flatten, and full of creases.

Journal making paper
Pretty decent paper for book binding little journals.

Poor choice of fabric for the exterior of a book
Was hoping to use this black book cloth on some projects, but the fabric they chose to back with paper is not really suitable. It's thin, and soft, and slightly fuzzy—a dust and dirt trap. It seems like they got some random cloth and glued it to paper with no consideration of the use case for books. The paper too seems incredibly cheap.
