Amazon should be ashamed of promoting inaccurate claims for this device
WARNING: For audio-in, this device as I received it has only a standard 3.5mm barrel audio jack, no digital optical socket if that’s important to you. The product description here is terribly misleading with the suggestion it supports optical audio. It has no digital optical capability (TOSLINK or S/PDIF), just a standard 3.5mm analog audio-in jack. I cannot explain why one Amazon customer answers affirmatively in a post answering the specific 12/30/17 question “does the Soundbar have an optical output…?”Amazon makes this even worse. The “Other Items Customers Buy” list displayed on this product’s Amazon page as I write this (9/10/18) displays at the top of its list, “What other items do customers buy after viewing this item? AmazonBasics Digital Optical Audio Toslink Cable” (https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-Digital-Optical-Audio-Toslink/dp/B00NH11H38). Well, good luck trying to plug that TOSLINK cable into that 3.5mm analog jack.My entire reason to purchase it was for the digital optical signal for digital audio.You be the judge. This is the full, offending paragraph of this merchant’s description at this writing: “WIRE OR WIRELESS CONNECTIONS - Modern and traditional devices work with the wireless speaker thanks to Bluetooth (effective distance:12 meters/39 feet) or wired connections that include 3.5mm, Optical, Coaxial, and RCA AUX input easily works with any devices you want, such as smart phone, iPad,and DVD player etc.” Wow, I suppose that 3.5mm jack can also make you breakfast the next morning, too.

No optical connection
Was really excited when I received the speaker but was disappointed when I discovered that you can not connect to your tv via optical cable. Since that is the only output connection supported by my LG tv, I had to return this speaker. Otherwise it is a sharp looking very sleek speaker bar.

Best for larger room
Solves our TV's inferior sound balance between voices and sound effects. No more "its too loud but I cannot hear what they are saying". That is why I opted for the 20w (10wx2) since I tried to 10w (5wx2) we have for a smaller room (10x12) it seemed a little tinny for this room (12x15). The 20w seems perfect for the bigger room. So great buy, good price and the best option if the room is a larger than a 10x12 room.

Did not work AT ALL, complete paperweight. Too much of a hassle to return which i think is what they're counting on.

Ships fast
Got it fast but it’s not load can hardly hear it. I have a real small one that’s loader. I tried it on the smart tv An my iPad.
