Just as good as the standard size board
Love, love, love this game. I first played it with a friend on a standard size board. I enjoyed it so much that I wanted the game to play with my family. This travel board was much cheaper than the standard to I bought it thinking it would not be as good. However I am happy to report it does not detract from the game at all, it is easy to store, the pieces are easy to use and it seems hard wearing.

Excellent travel size of fun strategic game
Perfect for travel- nice smaller version that was easy to pack. Fun game- love the scoring method especially if you are cramped on a plane or in a tent!

Awesome for my needs
First, i LOVE playing Azul. My husband and i usually try to get a game in at lunch every so often. i wanted a game that i could easily fit in my purse or bag, just to have a game on hand. when i found out Azul had a mini game, i jumped at the chance to get it!!! This is a little bigger than a pocket game, so i'd have to bring a big purse in order to fit everything. When you open it, it comes with 4 play boards that are double sided. They are ready to play on the normal side. if you want to use the more difficult board, you will have to take them out and reseat them. The tiles fit nicely on the board and the built in counters are great. This comes with a plastic piece that you can set your discs in that you put your tiles on. My only issue is that they are loose. the bag only has a snap close on the top, so they could easily fall out. i will be gluing them in the plastic molds. I will also be getting a small drawstring bag for the tiles. You can use the bag that everything comes in, but i feel as though, personally that it is too big and will be cumbersome. Also tedious when putting the game away. When you get the box all of the tiles are in their own plastic bags. if you like that, then it's perfect! It is a great size if you're going to hang out with friends, waiting for a table, traveling. it's easy to take with you just about anywhere. i am really impressed.

Great portable version of Azule
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I bought the travel size for a European vacation. We already love Azule and this was great to have for plane, train and relaxing evenings. Small and easy to tuck in a large purse or backpack.

Great family game
Great game and the travel version worked out nicely for minimal space in our bags while traveling.

Nice set up for traveling or wanting smaller set up.
I bought this as I didn't need the full large set even though this is for playing for at home. Just wanted something smaller to play on a small table in the house. The item is nice and all pieces are of high quality except the game board scoring slider is not very stiff and slides around very easy. Not a big deal but something to point out. I also wish maybe it came in a plastic hard case, almost like a briefcase style. The bag is nice and I wouldn't want to travel with the box but to just have the score boards and items loose in the bag, not sure if i like thatm the bag does have a snap button at the top to keep partially closed.Overall I am very happy with the buy and the size, just pointing out a few things.

A must-have
This game is a blast. It is very aesthetically pleasing and it requires a lot of strategy to master without feeling overwhelming. Newcomers can understand it pretty easily and have fun and advanced players can come up with very ingenious moves. It is truly great!

Good travel version of Azul
This travel game had a lot of features that made it portable and easy to take on a trip, such as sliding score keepers that stayed in place and things that held the tiles in place so that they do not move easily. Azul is a great and fun game after a learning curve to get used to how to play. The only negative thing about the travel version was that the tiles were only one sided, as opposed to two sided on the full-sized version, but that it probably because one side is hollowed out to fit on the board.
