Since the active ingredient in Differin Dark Spot Correcting Serum is a powerful concentration, we recommend avoiding combining it with Differin Gel if you’re just starting out. As your skin gets used to the adapalene in Differin Gel and the retinization phase is over, try alternating your serum and Differin Gel between AM/PM routines. When using the Differin Dark Spot Correcting Serum, we recommend applying products in order of thickness and using Differin Dark Spot Correcting Serum no more than two times daily (or alternating AM/PM routines with Differin Gel if using the gel). Start by cleansing first, toner if you use one, then applying Differin Dark Spot Correcting Serum to affected areas, and finishing with a moisturizer and SPF, if using during your AM routine.

How Long does it take to work ?

I saw a difference in three weeks to my face. I put it only on the dark patches.

I don't see why not but I use it at night befor bed
