I bought a two pack for the price of 1 by other vendors. They are surprisingly sturdy aluminum, not plastic. Strange battery setup takes 3 AA batteries not a C cell but works. Works really well with new batteries. I accidentally put in weak batteries in one and you could really see the difference in brightness. New batteries made both pretty bright. Good for a distance of a 10+ feet to make things glow, but is directional so only lights up where you point it, up to a few feet across at 10 feet distance. Usually you would use it much closer but should work well for a walk in the woods at night. I used them to show the UV dye in car coolant while looking for a leak. The UV dye glowed bright yellow. Also used in a motel to spot dirt. Did NOT find any bedbugs and the sheets were clean, but I was amazed at the smears on the microwave and all the dust that had not been cleaned next to the fridge, in various crevices, in the folds of the old mattress (looked below the liner), on the lounge chair, in drawers. I then used it on my car seat, and complaining about the motel is the pot calling the kettle black. Be prepared emotionally if you use it to look for dirt / dandruff in places you have not cleaned. It's also fun looking at the glow in the dark effect of things around you. My old dark wood desk finish glows a faint green in this light. Overall, a product that works and a good value in a two pack.

I've used similar products before. This one is quite nice. Much more powerful than a certain name brand's version at the same price point. I primarily use these for illuminating glow discs when playing disc golf, and they perform wonderfully. These are holding up well, too. A different one I had wasn't very durable and I actually had to repair it by rebending some loose components. So far, I'm quite happy with this product.

Battery life has been very good. Initially bought these just for fun, but I found that they’re very good for curing UV adhesive. It is also fun to shine at things at night and searching for cat esses also is easier too.

Let me say straight away that these black lights work great. Solid, good viewing area, does the trick. However… know that if you buy these you will be tempted to use them throughout your house. Word of advice: DON’T DO IT! My husband and I have not slept a wink since we cut the power and used these throughout our home. We discovered that our dog has expelled fluids across the majority of our living room. Our toilet area resembles the splash pad at the base of a children’s bouncy house. My husband apparently aerosolizes his urine and the the walls of the bathroom look like a college rave. The only thing missing is the psychedelic music. He’s like the Jackson Pollock of pee. I will not even tell you what our teenage son’s room looks like. Bottom line…Great black lights at a good value… but you’ll never sleep again!

seem to be well made lights, plenty bright, finds scorpions real good.....

They’re not too bright, but are perfect for hunting scorpions. We had a ton of them in north Texas, last year. These black light flashlights are awesome. You can also use them to find urine stains. My neighbor’s dog kept peeing on my front porch. I used these lights to find the exact spot that I needed to spray bleach cleaner, in order to eliminate that nastiness.

These work well but are not at all bright. Wish they were a bit brighter.

I've had 3 different UV flashlights after losing a few. This one was surprisingly large and the light was very strong. Make sure to check the description of the size because the pic make it seem like it'd be small. It was able to see cat fluids on our carpet very well. Not strong enough to cure resin. Would recommend still
