Very study clamp, for a temporary solution to put together an exhaust system

An unusual fix to a problem
I decided to get this because my flag pole was giving me a fit and I needed something to wrangle the cords. We tried everything and it wasn't until I saw this and got it that I decided 'what the heck' and ordered it.It worked! We were able to get all the cords together, snap the fitting on the pole and tightened it enough that it wouldn't go anywhere and not cut the cords. The fact that its stainless steel means it'll be there for a good long time without rusting and I can now handle my flags without a problem. Woo hoo!

Did not clamp down tight enough
With the bolts at maximum tightness, this clamp would not tighten up to a 1.75 inch inside diameter for me. It did not hold my pipes together, very disappointing. It seems like it would work fine if you have pipes with outside diameters of 1-13/16 inch to maybe 1-15/16 inch

Excellent Quality; Easy Fix for Broken Exhaust
I used carbon fiber weld tape to pull together a broken exhaust pipe and then used this to hold it as a single unit.Worked great and very versatile in fitment. I needed to order a slightly larger size due to the wrap but highly recommend.

Does not clamp 1.75 tube
Bought this to repair the 1.75 exhaust on my chevy cobalt. The clamp will not tighten down to 1.75. As tight as I could get it it would only go down to 1.84. Would not buy if you have 1.75 exhaust you are working with.
