I just installed this and tried it out after letting it cure for the recommended 24 hours. It seems very solidly stuck in place. They seem heavy duty, not at all cheap-feeling. It is smaller than I expected (look at the dimensions). Far smaller than a Magsafe size holder. It swivels with a large amount of force. Bumps in the car aren't going to change the angle, and neither will pulling the phone off or putting it on. I cannot adjust the angle with the phone in place (it will just release from the magnet.) I'm using this with a Galaxy S22 inside a two-part Crave case with textured surface. I put the metal plate in between the two layers of the case. I didn't use the adhesive and the plate is staying put. This means the phone isn't quite as solidly attracted to the magnetic holder as it would be if the plate were adhered to the outside of my case. At least with the plate as described in my case, the phone needs to be vertical on the stand. If horizontal, the plate needs to be at the center of gravity or the phone will just rotate to move the heavy end down. The surface of the stand is small, so there is not much friction to help the magnets keeping the phone from rotating, even though the surface of the holder is rubber. I think if the metal plate were on the outside of the case the magnetic force would be stronger, BUT the friction to prevent swiveling would then be lower because of the slick surface of the metal plate. The Crave case isn't slick, but it isn't rubbery surface, either. This is well worth the 50% discounted price, especially given there are two in the package, and deserves a full 5 star rating, at least in my initial impressions. If I am unhappy later on, I'll revise it, but I think it's going to work out just fine. Good small cheap and works!

Not my first purchase... bought another vehicle and had have given some as gifts. The first ones I bought I put in my vehicles to hold my cell phone and GPS (before my vehicles HAD GPS installed). The magnet is very strong and yet small. I LOVE that iy pivots because where I put mine, the flat area where the mount is stuck to is a bit slanted. Because the mount pivots I can adjust it and my phone is just right. When I finally traded in my old 2007 vehicle I'd had for years and got a new vehicle. I offered to leave the mount for the next owner because they asked "what's this?" and I told them how handy it was! My brother in law was amazed when he saw me stick my phone on the mount and asked "Hey, how'd you do that?" I said it's a magnet and the back of my phone case has a little metal disk that makes it stick.. like this... I've given these as gifts and I've bought a couple of different types over the years but I like this brand best. So easy to install and use, durable and price is very reasonable. I'm sure there are lots of other uses people could find if they just thought about it a moment! Well worth the purchase and I'm very satisfied with mine, would buy again if/when I need another. It's not like they wear out. I don't know how I ever managed without it and I hated the cell phone holders that clip on to the air vents because they block the flow of air. These, no issues what so ever!

Where has this been the last decade? I have struggled like most of us with car holders that secured to the dashboard, that clip to vents, that fit in the cupholder and all end up to be pieces of junk. This thing actually works. The adhesive is incredibly strong and already withstood 100° temperatures And it actually secures the phone. I only had one time where the phone slipped to the side, but I adjusted the magnet on the phone to be a little higher up and have not had the issue since. This actually works.

FINALLY! Something that works PERFECTLY for my car! These are the BEST! Before I mounted the one in my car, I was worried the it wouldn't have enough depth (stick out far enough), but I was so wrong - their depth is more than enough. I got so tired of all the suction type gadgets that always end up being a disappointment. Not these! Very well designed, AND quality made!

I purchased these because I was looking for a way to mount my tablet in my car to use while driving for navigation and music and these really did the job. They did not take up a lot of space on the dash and did not look really bad when the tablet is not there very strong magnets held the tablet in place at the angle that I placed it in and needed it to be would definitely recommend this for anyone that is wanting to use their tablet for their car navigation and music. We buy again in the future if needed.

Works great.. anyone who says they don't stick did it wrong! Super easy to install just get some rubbing alcohol wipe the "flat" area remove the protective film and press it on hold it for 10 or 15 seconds works right away!.. You MUST use the metal plate either inside your phone case or outside your case or outside your phone.. your phone will not stick well alone!

Live these. Stick great and hold the phone great. No complaints.
