Mine came in an open box with no instructions or hardware, but they comped me and I bought my own bolts so I'm happy with it. But I would use it for 3 instead if 5 unless you don't mind them bumping together cause they're too close. Other than its fine.

It works. It does what it was designed for.. and that's to hold 5 guitars. It was easy to put together. It's very basic. You get what you pay for. This is not a heavy duty guitar stand. It is not what i would call a high quality stand either. That being said, it's built reasonably well and it has proven to be effective and robust enough for home use. In fact I use it in my little bedroom studio. It is more than fine. I think it could use more padding on the base, but it is a simple matter to address if you chose to do so. What I like best is that it is compact. One of the smallest, if not the smallest footprint for a five guitar stand and it fit my space perfectly.

I keep about 5 guitars near my desk, and they were always leaning on each other, which was a stupid idea. Bought this to save my guitars lol, and it took about 10 minutes to put it together. I love it!

My grandson has multiple basses, this was perfect for him.
