my grand daughter who is 6 loves to play with this orboot earth globe. She likes to use the globe with her ipad, and without the globe when she is in the car. Her family moved from the US to Germany and will be moving again at the end of the year for the military to Japan. We ended up going visit them recently and gave this to her. She was able to see on the globe the places we visited together (where we traveled from), and information about those places. She was able to see where places are, and learn so much about each area. This was easy to set up, and the passport that comes with it, stickers, and stamps was a great extra bonus. She has her own passport, but it isn't as cool as her own to interact with. We will be checking out the core globe next.

Extremely cool product, a great educational toy/tool. Simply scan over any place in the globe and you will be told about; tourism, economics, animals and customs of that location in the world. My grandson is eight and he is already quite bright, but this tool/toy is really increasing his knowledge of the world outside of his town, state and country.

I got this for my social studies loving 8 year old child. It was semi-easy to use and very educational. It is sturdy and the colors are bright and attention-grabbing.

Our Orboot arrived this week, and I couldn't be happier. The recommended age is 4+, but it is a big hit with my twin 2.5-year-olds. Obviously, they can't use it without help, but once the app captures the stars on the globe, they love to interact with the features on the app. They wake up asking for sharks and turtles because the app lets you feed them and move them around. They're obsessed. This AR toy gave me a great opportunity to help my little ones and learn with them. The information included with each star is for slightly older kids, but I was able to pull some of the facts to share and point out while we explored together. The globe isn't heavy like a traditional globe, but it is pretty sturdy. My kids aren't gentle at their age, and it is holding up nicely. We travel a lot, and I can't wait to pull this out for each trip we take. It will make where we go more memorable before we even hit the road. This is more than just learning where to find something on a map. It is about learning the culture, animals, food and so much more. Each globe comes with a passport, passport stickers, and a Visa stamp to mark where they have "traveled". My husband is from Brazil, and it was such a big deal when they could put the Brazilian flag sticker in their passport. This is such a great interactive augmented reality toy, and I feel sure we will use it for years to come.

This interactive globe exceeded my expectations. It’s a brilliant mix of education and technology that keeps kids fully engaged. I saw this and got it for my son. He has Down Syndrome ,and since he was about 3 he has been interested in stories about places animals,foods, asking me if I've been here or there before,etc ..When he got older (13) He began to get extremely shy, afraid of things and rocking,almost all the time. We were told they didn't know what it was, but a doctor in the ER told told us he believed it was autism but that no one wanted to name it because "Downs kids can't get autism" It took 2 years for me to get that diagnosis and then no one wanted to treat it. His little world closed up but his sister and I were fighting to stop it. We filled his room with color,soothing sound and stories 5 times a day. Changed his diet to no dyes and no artificial flavors,sweeteners.His favorite item was his globe. We'd spin it,have him stop it and touch a place for a story. When I saw this I KNEW he would love it. We got him the newest Amazon 10"+ tablet and this along with a stories from around the world book. On the day after Christmas( also HIS birthday) we opened this up,set it up and put the app on his new device and my S22+ phone. He was so excited to be able to look this up on his own and hear the information. He was able to get it going,but every time he'd get the star in focus to choose the topic to hear about,it would stop working. I watched him become discouraged and then tell me he couldn't make it work after trying so hard. I told him I thought it was the globe,not him and that we'd figure it out. I tried as well ,and tried for over an hour for 6 days straight. Nothing. We were unable to keep focus on the star point on the globe for more than 5-7 SECONDS. I don't know if this one is DEFECTIVE or what, but I tried it alone, while he was asleep and it DOES NOT WORK. ITS HEARTBREAKING that one of his great interests can not be pursued by him. This was such a great idea carried out in poor form. I don't want to do anything more than get hold of the CREATOR of this item to see if they have a remedy. If not. This is of no value and I want our money back. They obviously KNOW there is a defect and it should be corrected in their app or by PROVIDING A SET OF STAR STICKERS that the APP CAN ACTUALLY READ !

We received this globe toy this morning! Snd my daughter 👧 was absolutely thrilled and very happy! The colorful, interactive design immediately caught their attention, and they’ve been exploring different countries ever since👍 The little passport and activity booklets make it feel like a real adventure. It’s such a fun and educational way to learn about the world. So fun 🤩 🌍✈️📘

This is definitely worth the purchase if you're looking for an educational gift for children. It will keep them entertained and learn so many things about the culture, food, animals and countries. It's even entertaining for the adults!
