I liked the fact that this device measures pH, salinity, and TDS. I use the device to water parameters for brackish fish. As my brackish fish live in lower salinities (under 10ppt) than salt water this is an issue with this device as it auto converts from ppm to ppt when salinity is above 10000ppm. You cannot control the conversion manually. Otherwise great device. I just convert ppm to ppt myself and verify correctness by looking at % salinity (and converting that to ppt in my head). Seems reasonably well built. Temp. and salinity are a bit off (.02-.04 ppt and 2F) when compared to my temp. gauges and other more high-end water meters. I really bought this for the TDS feature which will give me a rough idea of hardness.

Needed something to check against my Pentair system. Worked great.

Does what is supposed to do, consistently. It has been very handy to keep my pool balanced, by monitor PH and salinity.
