Great product
When I moved to a streaming service I lost the stereo output from my cable box which I used to play Music Choice. With this device I can use the optical output from the TV and connect to the RCA cables I ran to the receiver previously. (Older receiver without optical input.) Installed took 5 minutes and sound quality is great.

Just what the Doctor ordered
Did the job. Just what I needed to connect my TV to my budget Yamaha receiver with no optical, or HDMI inputs. Was definitely worth it. Would buy again.

Good little converter for old amps – clear sound, easy setup, one small gripe
I needed to hook my new TV's optical out to an older stereo with only RCA inputs, so I got this Neoteck 192kHz DAC cable. Setup was super simple – plug the Toslink into the TV, RCA into the amp, USB power from the TV's port, done. No extra power brick needed. Sound quality came through clean and strong right away. Music from streaming apps and Blu-rays sounded fuller and louder than the TV speakers, with good bass and no hiss or noise. The built-in amp chip really helps drive my older receiver without losing volume. It handles 192kHz/24bit fine, and movies play with clear dialog and effects. Works great for my setup. Only reason it's not 5 stars – the cable is a bit stiff and the USB plug feels cheap, like it might not last years of plugging/unplugging. But for the price, it's a solid fix that saved me from buying a new sound system. If you need optical to RCA and want something plug-and-play with a volume boost, this does the job well. Happy with it overall!

Sounds great!
Can finally listen to tv through stereo receiver without shutting off speakers like my P.O.S Fire tv Bluetooth. No lag in sound. Sounds great so far!

Don't work for any TV
Terrible. I installed it on more than four televisions at home, thinking that maybe I was doing something wrong, but I followed the steps you indicated on how to connect them, and it still doesn't work. It really annoys me to buy things that don't work or are misleading. To the customer: terrible product, I do not recommend it.

Works OK But !!!
The door to the optical port popped out when removing the cord. Only the second time setting up the convertor. The unit is still usable but I have to be careful because plug is no longer locked in. The door was part of the retaining mechanism
