I have a small apartment and had a small desk, however, I love making music, writing, and editing videos. The setup I had just wasn't cutting it spatially. I had end tables and clunky bookshelves acting as storage for me, making everything extremely cluttered and unorganized. I was losing the motivation to sit at my desk to create anything because I would feel literally, thus, creatively smooshed. I decided to look at desks which include storage on Amazon. I wanted one that would have enough space to hold my printer, midi key-board some books, and commonly used office supplies. I found this L shaped desk, which is PERFECT. The lights looked amazing too. Very heavy. I live on the 3rd floor with no elevator. I paid some dude $5 (probably unnecessary) to assist me in carrying it up to my place (necessary). The instructions were easy to read. I took everything out of the box first so I would know what I had before looking at the instructions, which claim you NEED two people to put this desk together - but I did it alone. The instructions call for this to be assembled upside down. If I had done that, I probably WOULD have needed another person to flip it and finished the final steps, but I simply assembled it with the desk up-right the whole time and it turned out perfectly. The lights work, the power strip works. My printer fits. My midi fits. My monitors are now the same level. I have room to write. I was able to donate 3 of my storage-providing end tables and a bookshelf. My place feels so much bigger and I feel less cluttered, and more motivated. It's amazing. For the price, I can't think of a reason to say no to this desk. The only thing that was a bummer about the assembly is that you really can't use a screw driver. So, your arms may be tired after :) But it comes with everything you need to make it. I'm not very experienced with furniture assembly, and this took me about 3 hours. I honestly had a blast watching it come together. If you're patient and pay attention to the details, you can assemble this desk no matter who you are and then look super cool when you're working on things! I also think it will be easy to disassemble it in such a way that it's easy to reassemble - for when I decide I want a bigger apartment and prepare to move.One of my favorite purchases, hands down.

Edited and updated: 1) We received two damaged pieces-- one was the back mesh for underside of the desk which is so bent it's not usable and the other was a corner to the top ( see photos). I contacted the seller who immediately shipped another desk. Received it within a few days of notifying them of the damage. 2) Instructions for putting desk together were okay. There's a lot of extra parts that aren't listed in the instruction manual. It took me about two hours. At one point the instruction manual tells you to flip the desk over to screw in the top. That wasn't feasible and it turned out fine. The screw driver and hex wrench are provided. 3) The screw holes didn't align for the center top piece. Again, they rectified the problem very quickly. 4) The shelves don't bolt into the desktop, which made putting them on super easy and you can actually use the desk without them. My son loves it. We added a corner desk sleeve for more space (it's under the mousepad). It's very stable and fits nicely. We are actually pretty impressed with it.

I mainly wanted an "L" shaped computer desk that was edgy but not over the top. I love the power outlets on top and the LED lighting with remote. This is classified as a gaming desk, but it is elegant enough to be used for home office as well. I don't have any issues except I wish it was maybe 8 to 12 inches longer on both sides. It is a tad smaller than I expected which is ok. This will make a great desk for home office or gamer who wants the "L" shape but also constrained on space, or you can purchase 2 and place them together for a modern looking "U" shape. It looks good and it's sturdy. Recommended purchase!

Good size, not to hard to assemble and looks great. Wish it was a bit deeper though

I bought a second one after setting up the first just because it fit well in my computer room and I could build the second one mirror image of the first. Overall, it's a good desk, don't abuse it as it's not robust and sturdy like your Grandpa's old handmade oak desk, but it functions perfectly. The directions are easy enough to follow. It is just dense powder board, so don't over-torque the screws, just snug and it'll be fine. LEDs are a nice ambiance feature, I don't use them all that often personally, but the surface mounted power strip it probably the most useful thing on this desk; just makes quick access to power easier if you need to charge your phone, plug in a heat gun, charge a drill battery real quick, whatever.

Alright, a full review, here we go! Pros: A lot of room, plenty of space, easy to organize! Cons: Setup is awful if you use the provided tools (psst, you have to for certain parts! 95% of the screws are hexagons, and not Philips (+), you need a rubber hammer to hammer on the foot supports, DON'T TRY USING HANDS! The RGB requires a USB, so if you are in it for that, be aware the power strip will only have one USB. I've been using this setup for a week now, and it is almost perfect for me. It was small enough to fit in my room, but big enough to have enough spots for storage/purposes. You can also set it up 2 different ways, which is nice if you need a specific orientation. The bottom walls are grated, which is great for organizing wires with zip ties, just don't push against it because it does seem a bit weak. Speaking of weak, the desk itself is VERY slim. Like, 1/4-1/2 of an inch. The top shelf in particular could be better with some extra support to keep it from bending from the weight of monitors, but so far it seems to be fine, can add something under it to prevent it from bending as easily. The RGB does come with a remote, and you can use an app to control the RGB as well, which is pretty cool for what it is! Overall, this is a good desk for the price, heavily recommend this if you have Prime or find it on a Deal!
