Although haven’t yet had time to use it, in the process of changing boats for angling, it seems to tivk all the boxes for what I need

Powerful racing tool for a cheap price
These things are a bargain for everything you can do with them. I have it set up for gps heading and SOG and use it constantly. You can set up a series of custom screens to display whatever data you want and the big number option for readout is very clear. Plan to wire it into our network this year to start using some of the other features like line pinging and lift tracking. We have it wired in for 12v power and the light dims nicely for night sailing. Truly a rare thing in sailing, a bit of gear that is cheap but excellent. Oh and I've had it wired in and in out in the elements for several years with no protection on it. If you seal the power lead in with some sealant it stands up to the weather very well.
