Excellent buy
We bought this sink to install under a new granite counter and have been 100% pleased. There is really nothing negative to report, but there is a caution about installation. Pluses: - The sink is plenty deep and with a narrow separation between sides, it gives you lots of sink volume to work with big items. - The grates supplied have removable plastic feet and bumpers to keep them from marking the sink You can take the plastic off and put the grate in your dishwasher. The grates are sturdy and we really like having them. This is a new feature for us and the grate make a great dying rack for one side of the sink while on the other side the other grate keeps dishes off the bottom of the sink where fall and are easily rinsed away. - The finish is very nice. It wipes down easily. - The 16 gauge walls make it pretty solid and the sound damping on the sides helps with that. - The drains were actually the most surprising part of this sink, and we really like them. The throats are deep and the baskets are as well. These are not the typical drain plug/strainer combination that you usually get. The stoppers are separate and just fit over the top of the drains. The baskets have many holes that are small enough to catch things you don't want to go down the drain, but there are enough of them to keep the drain working even when small scraps start to accumulate. The baskets are easy to pull out and dump and are easier to clean than a plug/strainer combination. The caution: The depth of the sink and the additional length of the drains can complicate installation. You may have to replace P-traps, etc., to accommodate these drains.

Does what a sink should do (and looks nice doing it)
We bought this sink in connection with a recent kitchen remodel. Never heard of the brand before, but we were impressed by the positive reviews so we gave it a shot. It absolutely does, and very well I might add, the most important thing that a sink can do - i.e., hold water. But beyond that, it looks great, sounds great (as in the heavy gauge steel and insulation really minimize the ringing/humming sound from the water spray), and it's nice and deep so it's really functional as well. What more could one ask for in a sink? It even has cool looking drains and drain/strainer baskets. As for the sink racks, they do look really cool. But after giving them a try for a couple weeks, we opted not to use them. They just seemed to get in the way more than anything else. Seems like some people like them, though. Different strokes. My only complaint (and it applies to a lot of nicer steel sinks these days) is that it has the Ruvati brand name printed very prominently right on the inside of the sink wall. I have nothing against Ruvati, but the truth is I'd rather not have their name plastered so prominently on my sink. I'm not sure many people are really all that brand conscious when it comes to sinks. But that's not that big of a deal, and it doesn't change my overall satisfaction with the sink.

Good quality at a reasonable price
I won't be installing this sink for another month, but I'm very pleased with what I see. It's a nice heavy duty sink and the stainless steel sheen is beautiful. The included rack inserts are a welcome plus. I don't know that I would have bought any, but now that I see them, I can see myself leaving washed dishes on a rack to partially drain before moving them to my dish rack or just drying them. Looking forward to the installation! Update: My kitchen remodel was completed a little over a month ago and I've been using the Ruvati. I think it's worth mentioning that the garbage disposal is noticeably quieter now. My disposal is a pretty nice model Insinkerator, and because it was still pretty new, I kept it and reused it with the Ruvati. Now when I turn on the disposal, I can barely hear it. I don't know if it's the heavier gauge steel or the noise damping material on the bottom, or both, but the difference is significant. Also, I have been using a rack in one sink in place of a draining rack, and it's been working out quite well. It give a much cleaner look to the kitchen.

Beautiful, High-Quality Sink
This is a beautiful, shiny, high quality sink. It goes nicely with my granite countertops and gives the kitchen a rich, modern look. The finish blends with our appliances, is easy to clean and doesn't show scratches. The sink is the perfect depth, holds several dishes and large cookware. The stoppers work well, no seepage even after days of water. The basket strainers prevent food from going down the drain and are easy to take out and empty. The steel is as hard like granite and due to the sound guard padding, there is no tinny sound when water hits it or when you drop something in it or tap on it. The rinse grids (racks) in the bottom prevent dishes from hitting the bottom of the sink and breaking. Just be gentle when putting dishes in because the sink is so hard, dishes that were lightly bumped on the top or sides of the sink have broken or been knicked. This beautiful sink was a nice enhancement to our remodeled kitchen and we are very pleased with our purchase. We will buy Ruvati sinks in the future.

Great Sink at a Good Price
After waiting a couple of months, I was finally ready to redo our counter and install the new sink. I love having a deeper sink. It is attractive and the soundproofing is very good. The covers for the drain are very nice and work well. The only negative I experienced was that I did not receive the rinse screens. Since I didn't open the box right away, I didn't call and ask about them. Otherwise, the product is very nice. A word of caution on deeper sinks, make sure you have enough room to install your disposal. I just made it with a couple of pipe adjustments.

installed by countertop installers, so can't comment on ease of install. Finish very nice, like the bottom grates, easy to keep clean, like the 'saver' baskets, only used 1 of those as drain not compatible with existing garbage disposal, however, noise from the garburator is much less now.

This is a heavy duty sink (16 gauge). Well insulated and coated. Nice clean look and love the deep strainers with integral catches as well as the grates. The only reason this doesn't rate higher for us is because even in spite of our obsessive attention to being careful, the unit has already taken on some surface scratches. The finish on this sink is different than most so I'm not sure how to buff these out. Other than that, we're really happy with it.
