I'm so happy Paul Mitchell has re-introduced their Super Glue. For awhile, they had stopped selling it and prices got outrageous (if you could even find it!). I think this is the best hair 'glue' on the market and the only product that worked on my baby fine hair. Adding a pea sized drop to my palm and rubbing it between my hands, I apply it gently through my hair and then use a 'pick' to style. The hold last all day, is water soluble and doesn't do any damage. I have been using PM super glue for years and swear by it. I can even curl my hair, run some 'glue' through it, pick it out to style and have it last all day. I can't say enough!!! Simply the best.

I have been a fan of this product ever since my wedding day. There’s nothing else that holds flyaway hairs in place like this. I have tried a multitude of brands. This literally, is tacky like glue but in a good way! It washes out just fine and I can count on it to lock the hairs in. I rated the category of sheerness a four/five because there is a mild white tint to it. You can work with this ,though, if you keep pushing it into place a couple of times with your fingers. Out of the bottle though, there is a white tinge.

I have used this product for nearly a decade and I just recently opened this tube I bought back in August. It is not the same "glue" any longer, not even sticky on the hands. Does absolutely nothing on my hair and my hair is flat in just a few hours. This stuff use to make my hair tornado hurricane proof and now it's just a useless tube of nothing. I ended up googling and it is confirmed that Paul Mitchell has indeed changed the formula, to the dismay of others as well. I wanted to buy another tube but cancelled my order after learning the very sad unfortunate news. I won't be buying this any longer.....

I ordered the firm style xtg for the first time. As with all Paul Mitchell products I feel it has quality. When I get it on my face accidentally, it doesn't make me break out like other products do. It has a good hold overall. It's not too firm and still has quite a bit of flexibility to it even though it's considered a glue. However if you're looking for a replacement like I was for Paul Mitchell's Hardwired spiking glue this is definitely not a replacement as some have suggested. I currently still have an old bottle of hardwired and it is much thicker and tackier than this. I attached the video to demonstrate that the product is not nearly as thick. My search will continue for a replacement for the hardwired spiking glue. In the meantime I will happily use this product

Love it. Works great and tube lasts a long time. I use it to to piece together areas of thinning hair so my gray roots don't show. Very useful between trips to the hair stylist!

Less than a pea size for short hair works GREAT. Expensive, but lasts a long time.

Something is different with one I just received. It doesn't hold near as well as it use to and it takes over double the same amount of product. It almost seems watered down. It seems it isn't the quality it use to be. 3 star because it still somewhat works but not near as good.

A little goes a long way, it's effective if used sparingly. Use too much and it leaves the hair feeling sticky and greasy.

Product arrived quickly and was as advertised. I was worried that since it was in a different plastic container that the product itself might be a little different, however it was not which I was happy about. This product goes into your hair fairly dry which I like, rather than your hair getting all clumped up in wet globs of hair gel. I don't use much of it each day so a bottle like this will last me 6 months. Will definitely use again.

The only product guaranteed to hold my hair in place, even now, during lockdown!!

I have been using this product for over 10 years. It has the best hold but still flexible and I can run my hands through my hair and it’s not sticky. It’s getting harder to find this product and will likely use it until I stop styling my hair.
