These ice packs saved the day after my Hamstring injury!
I used the ice packs when I traveled, to ease the pain of my hamstring injury! I took one in my carry-on to use on the plane! I put extras in my luggage for later. (Check with your airline for limitations on how many are permitted in your luggage!) Each lasted about 20-30 minutes but coolness lessened with time.

Works as advertised
Great for sports parents that need an ice pack quickly. These are not bulky and cold for about 15-20 minutes. Just long enough for kids to get over the shock of injury.

small cold packets that last for about 15 minutes
On the harder side to activate and cold only lasted about 15-20 minutes but if you are looking for something that you can activate and fall asleep and not worry about over exposing the area to cold, it works fine.

Pretty reasonable performance - use good force to activate the pack
I coach soccer and want to keep these handy for short term relieve in case of a child injury.I followed the directions, folded it over, and pressed until it felt like I broke something on the inside, as described. It didn't seem to be getting cold, so I punched the bag. No kidding, I was surprised how quickly it became cold. It was arguably instant. Make sure that you use gravity to your advantage and have the area you want to be kept cold below the pack. The liquid inside obvisouly is at the bottom of the pack.I'd disregard the advice on the pack saying "wrap it in a cloth". That said, it was 78F here when I tested it and the surface temp of the pack when I measured with a digital thermometer was 58F.Overall, pretty good performance for a chemical reaction cold back and better than the last one I tried.

Great packs, easy to use
I coach several youth basketball teams and these are great to have on hand for bumps, bruises and sprains. Easy to use and get cold, fast.

Good in a pinch
These don't stay cold very long ~10 min. If you have a major injury, you will go through a lot of them until you can get to a better ice pack.

Works Great!
Love having instant ice packs around! I was going through TSW and needed ice packs to cool my skin that wasn't messy and these did the trick. I, also, needed it to be easy to travel with. They typically last 15-30 minutes. Some tend to last longer, not sure why. I was able to pack this on my carry on while I was flying so that was convenient as well.
