Believe me I did apply more than simple force to it. This laptop desk is EXACTLY what I was looking for to keep my 13 inch creator's laptop stable on my lap and to allow proper cooling. My laptop's processor generates considerable heat. Good, simple construction, with an effective no-skid pad for the laptop I liked especially the slide out out mouse tray which works witheither a left or right-handed mouse and is built with a slightly raised edge that keeps the mouse fr falling off. This edge could be just a bit higher, but it's very effective as is Nothing to plug in or set up. This laptop desk fits very easily into the laptop bag.

I recently bought this laptop pad to allow me to watch movies on my laptop while lounging in bed or on the sofa without cooking either myself or the laptop. It fit the bill perfectly. The pad is strong, light weight and portable with "grippy" rubber surfaces both top and bottom. Today, however, I discovered how handy it is as a lap desk! Perfect fit for either our HP 2540P (12" diagonal screen), or Dell Inspiron 14". While the mouse pad area may seem small at first it handles a standard sized wireless mouse with room to spare. The left or right-handed sliding mouse pad option is a bonus. No mouse? No problem. It makes a convenient tray for your CD or DVD case avoiding loss in the folds of the sofa or getting crunched when either of our too large dogs (we have three) decide they want to cuddle up on the bed and watch too! NOT good as a beverage holder, however! Even my old Toshiba Satellite 17" laptop fits well enough (hangs about an inch off either side) to allow the feet to grip the pad and provide proper ventilation. Heat?? Yep, a coupla hours with the old Toshiba soaks through the pad. Solution?? A stadium seat cushion works best, but a thick folded towel or even a pillow takes care of that problem. Gonna buy another one of these to avoid potential household fights over who gets to use this one!! Highly recommend this "pad" for its versatility, compactness (fits right in your laptop bag) and sturdy construction. A bargain at $19 US!

[Build] This lap-pad is built sturdy. The quality feels nice especially around the rubber pads. [Size] Extremely portable. I was looking for something to bring along with my ultra book in a bag for train use, and this Lap-pad is extremely useful. For referecne, my ultrabook is 13.3 inches. I was also surprised that it managed to also fit my 16 inch bulky gaming laptops. [Mouse Pad] Perhaps the weakest link of this lap-pad was the mouse-pad. It slides out very easy, and its a great size, however its too smooth, so if your mouse doesn't have rubber feet, it ends up sliding everywhere when you go to type something on your laptop. I wish it was made out of a less smooth material. [Conclusion] Overall, this lap-pad is built great, has a great size that fits up to 16 inch laptops, and is very lightweight. However, the biggest thing holding it back is the material used for the mousepad, despite this downside I would definitely still buy again. Update: I've modified the mousepad and added thin grip tape. This simple modification still allows the mousepad to slide out, but also keeps my mouse steady. This brings the product up to 5 stars. However. Im keeping it at 4 since I believe this should have been considered.

This is a good basic lap desk. The pull out extension is nice for a mouse or to set my cell phone.

Perfect for anyone who takes computers into a home or other place to do charting. It’s sturdy and provides the support for the laptop and the mouse pad is functional and is adjustable to fit the size of your mouse! Wish I had purchased a lot sooner I’m using it when I’m working from home because it’s like a potable desk!

This works great! Laptop does not slide around and the mouse pad works on either side. It will be great for when I travel with my laptop because it is compact and light weight.

This Laptop Lap Desk exceeded my expectations by a wide margin. It is very sturdy and well made. My Mac Air M4 15 inch fits perfectly. I needed this because my Mac was getting hot when using it on my lap. This creates a hard, stable platform which allows air to circulate under the Mac. Just what I needed. 5 stars!

Very useful piece of equipment when you prefer to use a mouse and are limited for space as it gives you an extra little desk bit which is very useful for your mouse. A sturdy bit of kit and very comfortable .All in all good value for money.

Playing games on my laptop really got it hot. I needed a pad without fans to cool off my legs. This works great. It is very light and my 15.7 inch laptop fits well. I can play easily without feeling the heat now. The slide out mouse pad seems a little flexible but you can switch to left or right and it might come in handy.

Excellent portable laptop tray. Good material and love the push out mouse space. Efficient and handy.
