The gallon paint pourer by ShurLine is easy to use and put on the paint can. Easy to clean up. Kept the paint from spilling all over. Very satisfied with the Shur Line 06100 paint pourer.

Great product if your pouring lots of paint in a tray. Also great for single color painting. Not the easiest thing to clean if your using for multiple paint colors. Yes I have my glasses on and graduated art school thank you very much! Biggest tip I can give you is MAKE CERTAIN SURE this thing is correctly and COMPLETELY seated in the paint bucket. If it is not you will know immediately. I managed to avoid this issue but came close to having my floor looking like a Jackson Pollock painting. Takes a bit of working with it at times. Be very careful NOT to lean or make contact with anything like the tray or pressure in general while pouring. This leads to leaking, or complete failure in the form of popping this thing out of the bucket. Now you now have a huge clean up and are reminded at how bad you are at painting. Works best if you have 1 to 1/2 inch of space above the paint in the can the first time you use this.best to really be sure you have it installed correctly. Overall it’s very useful and much easier than the pour and frantic paintbrush scramble to scrape all the excess paint off the side of the can. Lastly make sure you have completely cleaned every groove and surface and dry it before switching colors. It is very deceiving in its simplicity but I assure you it won’t be completely free of paint somehow. Had the mysterious color mix happening a few times. But found the remedy by taking my time and my wife’s advice and that issue was resolved. But I still don’t know how to paint.

I have searched everywhere for these in the stores and haven't been able to find them. I was SO happy to find them on Amazon (I bought one at a paint store years ago and haven't been able to find them since.) Works great, I will not paint without one of these on my paint cans, it does a great job protecting the rim and sides of the can from becoming a mess. It fits nice and snug on every can I've used it on, I primarily use Pittsburgh paint, though have used it on other gallon paint cans of primer and outdoor paint and it's fit well on every can. The only downside to using this is once you have this on the paint can. you cannot use the paint can's handle because it will not swing up and over the can guard. For me this isn't a big deal because the benefits are worth it for me, but I think it's worth noting in case anyone is curious about that.

The product description claims that it fits any standard U.S. gallon or 4-liter can, but that’s simply not true. It did not fit any of my Behr 1-gallon paint cans, which completely defeats the purpose. I bought this to make pouring easier and less messy, but it was useless right out of the package. Very disappointed — misleading description and poor fit. Would not recommend.

Purchased to complement my 15-year-old spout. It actually seems slightly smaller than the older product, however, it will not seal on Sherwin-Williams cans without tape. The older product has a stiffer plastic, while this is softer and rubber-like. The other one snaps in the place and stays well, while this one popped off just by wiping the spout. BTW, the older one was made in USA. I like these spouts since there’s so much easier to clean up than the full can tops so I will continue to tape it down. Unless I find a different similar product and then this will be returned. I would not purchase again.

I don't get it, why is US-standard sold in the UK where it doesn't fit anything!? It is too large to fit 2.5l tins and too small to for 5l tins. I've not seen any US gallon tins in the UK!

Make sure it’s snapped in good. My paint cans stay clean now. Easy now to close the lids. Great if your using sand can over and over.

I bought the Shur-Line 06100 Gallon Can Paint Pourer, and it cracked immediately when I was inserting it into the can. It still worked for the first use and was relatively easy to clean. However, I noticed that the red plastic started bleeding onto the paper towel when cleaned with paint reducer, which raises concerns about the material’s durability. After just three uses, it completely broke apart at the pouring spout. Overall, the idea is good, but the material quality is very poor and does not hold up to normal use. I would not recommend it.

Buy this if you want to get really really annoyed, it's a right pain to fit and once you've knocked the hell out f it to get it to fit it'll pop out all the flipping time. It's something else to clean once you've thrown it as far as you can, it isn't far as it's plastic. A better alternative is to drill holes in the recess of the tins and the paint drains away, I wish I'd seen that first. (on YouTube).
