A friend in PCOS
This book is great when you are just learning about your PCOS. I wasn't worried when I got this book and read it. I found so many resourses connected to this book and that is so amazing. Tamika really does just want to help other women.

Easy to Understand
I liked how the author truly broke PCOS down in a way that was easy to understand. I also appreciated how relatable/real she was about things. Other books on PCOS have not been able to break things down to a level that makes sense to me and have provided guidance that basically makes PCOS still seem unmanageable for an average person on a budget. This book made me feel a lot better about going about living my life with PCOS not only because I now have a basic understanding of how it works, but also what simple everyday things I can do to help my PCOS symptoms.

Encouraging, Helpful & Empowering
I was impressed with how accessible this book made much of the research and technical terms regarding PCOS. It's a difficult condition to live with and understand, especially when you have overlap between your root causes. In my case, I also have Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, so getting to the heart of the problem can be overwhelming, and the sheer amount of changes that need to take place just to get me healthy again look like an impossible mountain to climb. My symptoms came on at a fairly early age, and it was ten years before I was officially diagnosed with either of the issues I have. Another ten+ years have passed with sporadic medical care and not nearly enough encouragement. Not having medical insurance coverage, I do a lot of research on my own. Books like this one, especially ones that have so much supplementary material, are extremely helpful. From doing previous research, I put a number of these protocols into play at the beginning of last year and felt really good between January and April. After that, I started reintroducing things into my diet and eventually went back to my old way of eating. It can be extremely hard to make dietary changes when you are so used to making meals with another person who does not have the same health concerns as you, which has been my case. Since discovering this book, I have been encouraged to begin these changes again and take control over how I steward the body I've been given rather than letting my symptoms run my life. I'm fed up with them, and reducing androgens, repairing my hormones, and learning how to thrive with PCOS has become my top priority. I highly recommend this book. I so appreciate its gentle and positive approach to a complicated yet critical issue more and more women are facing in the world today. It's very empowering.

I definitely recommend
I have learned so much about my body with this book stuff I would wish there could teach females in school. Definitely will be a book I pass down to my daughters. Teaches how to use natural ingredients to help your pcos meals to eat and how to eat.

Too Redundant – Nothing new
I was expecting in-depth insights and actionable strategies for managing PCOS, but unfortunately, this book is quite repetitive. The information provided is basic and readily available online, making it feel like a collection of common tips rather than a comprehensive guide. While it may be helpful for someone just starting to learn about PCOS, those already familiar with the condition might find it lacking in fresh or detailed content.

Incredibly Helpful
This book was incredibly helpful! As someone recently diagnosed with PCOS, I had no idea what it was or how to take care of myself—this book was truly eye-opening. If you or a woman you know has PCOS, I highly recommend giving it a read.
