An absolute must!
I got this Jumperoo when my son was about 3 months old. I know he was young but he felt ready for it, being quite good at holding his head up from early on, as well as pushing and holding on his legs (his kicks at the end of my pregnancy literally took my breath away). He had so much gas and reflux that I'd spend all day holding him up and burping him. After 3 months of this, I was EXHAUSTED and really needed something that wouldn't involve him lying down or being seated (bumbo type) as both these positions would either make him cry or vomit. I did extensive research, read about the Jumperoo (only ever good things) and some friends mentioned how happy they were with theirs. I thought I'd give it a try and hoped for the best. Well..... if you must buy one piece of kit, make it this one! It is truly worth every single penny and more.At first, he was a bit dubious and scared of the flying parrot and frog, but I put that on the fact that he was so young. Soon enough though, he got to loving being in there and once he found out how the jumping worked, OMG.... hours of entertainment! I'd be able to leave him in there while doing a bit of cleaning, cooking, etc. When he was bored of it, it usually meant that it was time for a nap. The jumping and activity would sort of wear him out and he'd sleep so well after a Jumperoo session. As we're always out of batteries, I never got round to putting the sounds and lights on but he had so much fun anyway without them that I didn't bother. He's now nearly 8 months old and I just recently put the batteries in - he prefers it without. Now he crawls and has started standing and cruising around the living room (maybe thanks to all that jumping?), he doesn't enjoy being in the Jumperoo so much. But he's still in there a little everyday, mainly first thing in the morning after he's had breakfast and so I can have a quick shower. At least I know he's safe in there as otherwise, I can't take my eyes off him for more than a second. All in all, I would definitely recommend this Jumperoo to anyone especially those with super active babies or those like us, with gassy/refluxy little ones. Again, worth the cost and the (large) size of it in your living room!

Fantastic for any bouncing baby!
First things first, this is a sizable piece of kit. measuring about 1m in diameter, and just over 1m tall, it's a hefty piece of kit. Taking about 10 minutes to put together upon arrival, once built it's pretty sturdy although could be collapsed down again easily enough if needed. The bouncing platform has three adjustment levels what will help you match the height of the bouncer with the height of your baby as they grow both in height and weight. The settings seem reasonably well judged so far and it looks like there's a reasonable period of use to be had from it, although if I had to guess, I'd think that our little one won't fit into this much beyond 12months old. It's built up to FisherPrice quality. Plastics are good quality, well moulded and easily to clean. There's plenty of variety for baby to look at and interact with, from the motion sensitive sound and lights to spinnable rattles, dangling frogs and flies on cables. Lots to grab, hold, turn, spin, pull and otherwise interact with. The seat that baby sits in is able to rotate through 360degrees, meaning that baby can turn to face whichever toys take their fancy or watch whatever's most interesting. The seat cover is removable and can be washed, pretty much everything else can just be wiped clean. Our little one loves this for about 10 - 15 minutes at a time, during which he wears himself out. It's certainly helping strengthen his legs and perhaps his balance too. He probably only plays in it once or twice a day but he really does enjoy it. Timing is critical though, there's no use putting him in the jumperoo for at least 2 hours after a feed or it will come back up.At the original price of >100quid, it was a lot of money to spend on a toy that will get relatively little use... assume 20 minutes a day for 6 days a week, for 6months (before they get too big)... means it's over £1 per hour of use.At the newly reduced price of 50quid, it's much more reasonable and highly recommended - provided you've got the space!

It is simply the best thing we could have bought for our child!
I have rated some other baby products we've purchased as five stars, but if I could, I'd give this one six stars. It is simply the best thing we could have ever bought for our child. As J Wyland's review says, although it seems expensive, it's worth so many times what you will pay for it! Our son was only 3 months old when we bought it for him, and its features have grown with him. It has three height settings which mean you can raise it up as your baby's legs get longer. He gets bored of every toy he has except this one; the only reason we take him out of it is to protect his legs or if he's getting too tired. To begin with, the noises and the little monkey at the front were enough, and now that he is 7 months old he can turn the seat (it swivels 360 degrees) and play with the toys at the back. He can also grab up for the parrot that hangs from one of the legs/arms, but this can be adjusted if your baby is bigger/smaller to get them to stretch for it. There are so many things going on to keep your baby entertained. Two other babies, one a month older and one a month younger than our son, tried it out. They both loved it and their mother's both bought one of these after trying it out. One mum bought it then and there on her phone! As for the jumperoo itself, the construction is very sturdy and the leg at the back does clip out (not easily though) so that you can fold it down slightly. It is still a considerable size folded down, but a lot less intrusive. The volume switch for the noise is a welcome relief from the constant noise. The springs are completely covered by a soft fabric and testing them they seem very well sewn together. The seat is strong and durable, while the back of the seat is padded slightly.
