Clearly written, concise, great pics
This is my favorite hygge- lagom book of all time. Definitely good to own and reread as needed to remind ourselves of how to live in a healthier, balanced lifestyle.

Love this book! A must read!
I love this book. Very surprised to read the negative review one individual published. Ignore, it’s nonsense. Everyone can learn something from reading this book. It’s the kind of book to keep on your bedside table and go back to time and again. To remind us what’s important in life, and small ways we can endeavor to live more simply, more authentically. Connecting with nature and the simpler things in life is especially important in this chaotic world we find ourselves in. The further we drift from the natural state the more our souls in fact crave it. I think this author succeeded smashingly at pointing us in the right direction. And I think Thoreau would enjoy the read. As will the friends I am giving this to for Christmas!

Book on simple tips that may improve your life
Small handheld book but pretty thick, almost like a pocket dictionary! I really love this book, it’s a great book with little tips on how to improve your life. It’s not written page to page but it mostly pictorial and has small sentences/ paragraphs on some pages. It’s not going to tell you directly the secret to a happy life but tips that may help. I found them very help and even soothing to read this book. Many people do not like this format mentioned above, but I think it’s very helpful for people who feel they’re life will benefit from being more simplified. Overall I learned we have a lot to learn from the Swedes!

Yay for Fika!
I've been following many bloggers and posts on social media that encourage us to believe, "You are enough." At first I didn't understand what that meant. To me, being "enough" meant that I'd done ok, the minimum, my version of the "Gentleman's C". I have always wanted to be better than "good enough." After reading the book, I can see that there is a time, place and a lifestyle for living with "Not too Little, Not Too Much, Just Right." Which sounds like Goldilocks and her three bear friends, doesn't it?The concept of "Lagom" is a popular one now. In this book, the author presents an upbeat introduction to incorporating Lagom into all aspects of your life, the Swedish way. By making "subtle changes to your routine you will not only bring a sense of equilibrium to your life; it will also bring you a greater feeling of calm and contentment. Chapters on Lagom in your personal life, family and relations, your house and belongings give clear examples and are accompanied by lovely photos, and some recipes. A "fika" coffee break sounds lovely!I enjoyed the Swedish Proverbs that were included. "The right amount is best." "Those who wish to sing always find a song." The author also posts on Instagram and has a blog and the book reads as if it were a compilation of these posts. Still, she writes with earnest enthusiasm and gives us a solid introduction to Lagom.

Delightful Book
This book if full of beautiful and inspirational photos as well as wonderful tips on how to keep your life simple and full of peace (some of which we already know but need reminded of every now and then). It is a beautiful book to set on a night stand or in a bookcase. This is my go to gift now for friends and family! I will also get a copy to set out in our AirBNB.

An easy read but with a few weird statements
Overall, a good guide about Lagom (one of the best on Kindle Unlimited). However, some of wording is a bit weird, if not problematic. The author seems to see Swedish people as superior (saying things like Swedes are blessed with golden manes etc), which makes some passages feel like they were written in the 1940s (if you know what I mean). Because of that, some of the passages feel like a “fetish”.

Well written, great pictures and graphics! A great read! Most recommended. 5"x7 1/4"x1".
A great read and tons of exquisite photos and graphics. It's a small but a coffee table book! This is a 280 page book with table of contents and index. It's a genuine treasure, I have already purchased more for gifts and will keep handy in my wish list for more when I need them! I have bought 4 lagom and death cleansing books, and similar Swedish ways topics and this is my favorite! Oh, thank God for spell check here, I was going to spell Swedish with 2 EE's! LOL!
