Nature's Miracle Advanced Platinum Cat Scratch Deterrent Spray, 8 Ounces, Discourages Destructive Scratching

I have the world’s scratchiest cat. Love her to death but she and I moved in with my partner and kitty went about destroying the fabric dining room chairs and my partner’s favorite living room chair. Can’t believe it took me months to think of looking for a spray. I sprayed all the scratched surfaces (does smell nice and the smell fades quickly) and the result was instant—no more scratching AT ALL (though she still sits on the chairs, which is good). After 10 days I saw her scratch once, so sprayed everything again. I think the bottle will last for months at this rate—a good deal for 8 bucks. I get that it doesn’t work for all cats, which is a bummer. Definitely thought it wouldn’t work for us, but it seems we got lucky. Wish they made a spray for begging at the dinner table like a damn dog ;-)

Doesn't work on my cats at all. One of them even rubs her face on the sofa right where I sprayed the deterrent. Proceeds to scratch, and then curls up right next to the arm rest that's just been treated.

This is my second bottle. IT WORKS. My cat is notorious for climbing our curtains 😭. I spray this deterrent on and she stays away. Works like a charm.

One of my cats have decided to start clawing at the carpet on the steps of our new townhome that we rent. I can’t say for certain that this spray is working to stop her from scratching. I love reapplied the spray consistently but it hasn’t seemed to deter her. It may work for other kitties though. I will say that we like the scent. It is a bit strong but if you enjoy essential oils, you’d probably also like the scent. It makes our hole house smell fresh after it’s applied. The spray is more of a stream - I personally wish it was more of a mist. The stream makes it a bit more difficult to apply depending on the application site. It didn’t discolor our carpet, and it seems safe to use on different types of surfaces. I do recommend spot testing though. We will probably continue to use it in the hopes that it may eventually deter her scratching!

Product works to train my cat to stay away from certain furniture. It works so well for my cat that she will avoid the entire room if I spray this on my sofa or box-springs. Don’t get it misconstrued, you may have to reapply after the deterrent smell wears off. I had no problems with it damaging or discoloring my sofa and I have no other pets where it may cause a reaction. No reaction with children either. It does smell a tad wonky as it has essential oils in it. Like cedar and lemongrass among others. 4 star review is because this bottle has a defective spray mechanism, so the button gets stuck down when I press it and I have to coax it to pop up once more. Doing this repeatedly during a course of spraying this solution makes it annoying because it gets on my hands and makes the whole process take longer.

Product works. But do test the area. base boards and door frames it will leave a buildup. Very hard to clean off once dried.

The bottle arrived damaged and the spray is leaking. I managed to use the broken one and my cats hate the smell of this product but keep scratching sofa even after several sprays. Looks like mainly due to the smell won’t stay long.

Smells like mint and citrus. It has kept my cat away from scratching my new couch!
