The best egg poacher cups! Love the colors
These egg poacher cups are great!! Easy to use and clean up is super fast.Great price!!They fit in almost any size pan, also work in the microwave. Just remember to pierce the yolk before you microwave!! To remove the egg from the cup I just slide my fork around the edge. You can also add a little butter on nonstick spray to help the egg release from the sides of the cup

Makes perfect poached eggs!!!
I was poaching the old-fashioned way: drop an egg in boiling water and watch it. It was messy to clean the pan and slotted spoon and a little too egg smelly. This is so easy!! I swish a little vegetable oil in the cup with the provided rubber brush. Pan is boiling with an inch of water. I crack the egg into the cup; place it in the pan and put the lid on. I found that setting the timer for 7 minutes gives me a firm white and a still soft yolk. The cup(s) have never turned over and eggs slip right out! I love this gadget!

Potentially perfect poached eggs
Works pretty good, but does take longer for eggs to cook, than when just dropped in water. Takes some practice to get timing right for perfect poached egg. They are easy to clean and eggs hold their shape nicely.

If you like poached eggs, these are the minimalist option.
There are some really good egg poachers, if you were raised 60s to 80s your family might have had the Sunbeam or Oster egg cooker -which worked great. There are new similar ones, but they dont seem to have the robust build quality that might last decades like those 2. Those cookers also take up cabinet space, these cups take no space, you can use a variety of pans and work really well. If you use spray the eggs just slide right out. I have a deep wall frying pan, can drop as many as I want and with the lid, 5 minutes perfectly cooked poached eggs. Very handy, because you have choices of your existing pots, and you can save the space. These cups are heavy duty, but are flexible. They are substantial enough, but easy to handle. There are wings, which actually are the genius, because putting in and pulling out of water you have a handle - these are very usable and well considered. By the way, I sent a set to my son, he has been craving our family fave of poached eggs on toast - and successfully introduced his wife to the joy.

Perfectly Poached Eggs
These egg poacher boats are well designed and functional. Reading other’s review on some of the criticism may suggest they lack cooking technique. I use Pam to coat the interior of each boat then add a pat of real butter. Pam is sufficient to reduce sticking but coupling it with butter adds to the coating and enhances taste. I am careful not to start with too much water in the pot and only fill it to 1/4 or less. Too much water causes splashes during boiling, which boils the egg from the top instead of steaming. I bring the water to a high boil then reduce it to a gentle boil before introducing an egg. I break my egg directly into a boat and use a long handled tong to place the boat into the water. I set the timer for 15-20 minutes for soft eggs with a bit of juice; or 20-25 minutes for very firm eggs. Prepare your serving plate by folding a paper towel in half. Place it across the center of the plate. Using tongs, remove a Boat from the pot with tongs and use your other hand to guide it over the plate. Tilt the boat. The egg will slide onto the paper towel. Bend the paper towel ends up and pat any water on the egg. Finally, take both ends of the same paper towel and flip gently flip it over onto the plate. Discard the paper towel. Eggs will always need to be dried a little even if the water doesn’t boil on them. They’re cooking in hot water with a lid, which creates steam, then condensation inside the pot. Many chefs poach eggs by breaking them into a pan of boiling water, which requires draining and drying. These cute boats are actually pretty phenomenal and well thought out by someone who understood poaching eggs. Did I mention that 4 boats were less than $2 each? Enjoy.

Cute silicone cups but not for microwave eggs
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I wanted to replace a very old microwave egg poacher. Thought these would do the job. Not so. Making "poached" style eggs in these is near impossible in the microwave. The egg is either under cooked or explodes. Still experimenting with power levels and cook times. I'm sure these would be great for poaching eggs the old fashioned way - in a pan of water with a lid. I'll likely be using these as mise en place bowls. Which is fine. They wash up well in the dishwasher.

Just the thing for easy poached eggs.
These little guys are so easy to use and make great poached eggs. Using these work so much better than strainer methods because you get the complete egg white, not just the thick part.

My go to egg poacher now!
I was a bit skeptical at first but after using them, I have come to the conclusion that this is the BEST and EASIEST way to make poached eggs! Very easy to use, works every time (don't let your pan boil dry!), beyond easy to clean. Highly recommend!
