3M Car Door Edge Tape
DIY user had never seen this product before but I’m pleased with the ease of use. Put 25% Isopropyl alcohol & 75 % water into a spray bottle to clean car body, along with soft microfibre cloth. Then applied strip of door guard tape pulling bit of backing off at a time. Then when strip down front Face of door gently rolled around door edge to the inside edge. Looks virtually invisible when on vehicle and have washed car 48 hours after ( see picture for results) Over all 100% satisfactory results.

Easy to install. Great item for protection. Adheres to area really good. Able to maneuver to the curvatures. Great look and didnt even noticeable. Good quality with thickness. Wrinkle free if done right.

Easy to install just takes patience and planning on where you would like the film to start. This is one of the first things I bought when I got my new 2026 Toyota Tacoma. After putting on the edge protector, I accidentally hit a cement post when opening my door at the gas station. Nothing happened to the edge of my door and I was happy I had purchased this item. Glad to know it actually works. I recommend it. Just some advice, apply half on the outside edge, once done fold the other half inside the door edge. Have a razor blade handy to cut the inside of the film if you have angles on your door edge. If no angles, it's really easy to install.

This really is not the best for automotive purposes. The price of cars nowdays you want some scratch and chip protection. However the quality of this is marginal with a rough jaged edge on one side. Guess it would be fine for a used cheap car. Not worthy fo a $70k truck.
