I've had great experiences with eSUN filaments in the past, and this red PLA is another winner. This is a brilliant, reliable filament that delivers fantastic results. First off, the colour is superb. It's a deep, vibrant, and incredibly consistent red that looks absolutely stunning on finished prints. There's no variation in the pigment, and it has a high-quality, smooth finish. I've attached a photo of a multi-part character model I recently printed (the red parts, of course) which really shows off how clean and bright the colour is. Performance-wise, it has been flawless. It adheres perfectly to my build plate (PEI sheet) and the layer adhesion is excellent, creating strong, durable parts. I've run several prints with this spool and haven't had a single clog, jam, or extrusion issue. The dimensional accuracy is advertised at +/- 0.03mm, and my experience confirms it's spot-on, which no doubt contributes to the clean and trouble-free printing. The 1KG cardboard spool is wound neatly, as I've come to expect from eSUN, and it feeds perfectly into the printer without any tangles. If you're looking for a high-quality, reliable red PLA that you can trust to produce great-looking, strong prints, this is an easy recommendation. It's a fantastic filament for the price.

Good quality filament which prints flawlessly in Bambu Lab A1 AMS lite

eSun never disappoint. This is a really solid white filament at a great price.

Been using eSun filament for years. Always a good print, never any clogging or snapping. A 100% reliable filament. Recent changes however are not great. I understand the green issue but cardboard rolls get knocked and then no longer work on rollers. Have a bank of Bambu printers all with AMS units. Cardboard Spools in an AMS causes problems with dust. Filament jams etc. Cardboard Spools are also mentioned in the AMS paperwork not to be used. This results in having to rewind each and every 1kg.

I’ve been using eSUN PLA filament for a while now, and it’s been super reliable. The spool is neatly wound, and the filament feeds smoothly into my 3D printer with no tangles or snags. Print quality is awesome—the layers come out clean, and the colors are vibrant (I’ve tried a few of their shades). It’s also really beginner-friendly, so if you’re new to 3D printing, this is a great filament to start with. Overall, it’s a solid choice for everyday printing. Good quality, easy to work with, and affordable. I’ll definitely keep coming back for more!

Great colour. Matches picture. Perfect deal for 2 rolls No stringing

I have been 3D printing for many years now, but this is the first time I have used eSun and their "ePLA-Lite". This filament is terrible and not fit for purpose. Do not buy this looking to save money because it will end up costing you more. I just had to get that up front in case people don't read the rest of this review. The main issue is the winding. The outer layers seem neat and tidy but after the first ~200g the remainder of the reel was a tangled mess so knotted that neither I nor the extruder could pull the filament off the spool. After cutting and freeing it 6 times across the course of 4 hours I just gave up and wrote off the print along with the wasted filament. This reel has been loaded and kept under tension from new, so there is no chance this tangle is from user error. See the images for an example. On top of this, possibly as a result of the poor winding, the filament is full of kinks, bends, and stress marks. This is 'Cool White' so the fact I can see the stress lines on the surface (not pictured) should tell you how bad they are. This entire reel is a write off and I am gutted I ordered another 4 spools from eSun before finding this issue. I hope this is a one off and others aren't suffering the same issues but I won’t be buying any more to find out because it's just not worth the risk. I shall be returning the ones I have on order as soon as they arrive and moving back to my old supplier.

Je suis très content de ce filament ESUN. Je l’utilise sur mon imprimante à 200 °C pour la buse et 65 °C pour le plateau avec mon imprimante Qidi Q2 et avec un dryer Creality pour le maintenir bien sec. Les impressions sont très propres et régulières. La qualité est constante, pas de problèmes d’extrusion ou de bulles, et les résultats sont vraiment satisfaisants. Bon filament pour l’impression 3D, je recommande 👍.

He usado este filamento PLA durante varios dias para impresiones domésticas normales. Buscaba una opción económica y, en este caso cumple con lo esperado. La impresión es sencilla, con buena adhesión a la cama y sin problemas destacables durante el uso y el material se extruye de forma regular Puntos positivos: buena relación calidad-precio y buenos resultados. Bobinado uniforme. A mejorar: el acabado no es tan fino como en filamentos de gama superior. En general, es una buena opción si se busca un PLA económico y funcional para impresiones comunes o prototipos, aunque no es el más adecuado para trabajos donde el acabado sea prioritario.

Manchmal gibt es Produkte, bei denen man gar keine riesigen Romane schreiben kann – und das ist in diesem Fall durchweg positiv gemeint! Ich nutze das eSUN PLA Lite (hier in der Farbe Feuerwehrauto-Rot) und es macht exakt das, was es soll, völlig ohne Zicken. Druckverhalten: Der Inbegriff von Plug & Play Es gibt hier wirklich keine große Wissenschaft oder ewiges Einstellen: Ich werfe die Rolle ein, starte den Druck und es funktioniert einfach auf Anhieb. Das Filament läuft absolut sauber und zuverlässig durch. Mir ist während des gesamten Drucks absolut nichts Negatives aufgefallen. Und ganz ehrlich: Wo es keine Fehler gibt, brauche ich mir auch keine Kritikpunkte aus den Fingern zu saugen. Es druckt sich einfach wunderbar entspannt. Farbgebung & Optik Was bei dieser Rolle wirklich heraussticht, ist die Farbe. Das Rot ist unglaublich satt und kräftig. Besonders wenn das Modell fertig gedruckt vor einem steht, kommt diese intensive Leuchtkraft erst so richtig schön zur Geltung. Es sieht nicht blass oder milchig aus, sondern hat eine richtig tolle Tiefe. Fazit Ein wunderbares, völlig unkompliziertes Filament für den Alltag. Wer einfach nur entspannt drucken will und kräftige Farben mag, ist hier genau richtig. Vorteile auf einen Blick: Absolut stressfreies Druckverhalten (Rolle rein und los) Extrem satte und kräftige Farbgebung Sauberes, fehlerfreies Druckbild Tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis (gerade für den Alltag) Nachteile: Mir ist bei bestem Willen absolut nichts Negatives aufgefallen.
