Excellent product that does what it says
I had a delinquent candle and hadn’t appreciated the damage it had caused. The soot sponge has done a really good job cleaning up the area. From the first wipe, there was a clear and noticeable difference. I’ll admit I did find the sponge difficult to hold at times - this was probably more my hands than an issue with the sponge, and I kept dropping it. But over time, I got better at holding it with the right pressure to keep it secure while I worked. This didn’t impact on the effectiveness of the sponge at all. And it’s done an excellent job cleaning up. I haven’t tried washing it yet, so can’t comment on whether that is effective or whether it works just as well after being cleaned.

Not worth trying
Poor performance, didn't do the job. Wasted in money in my opinion

Brilliant results
Absolutely brilliant. Had a log burner for five years and have used them to clean the living room for re-painting. Cleans soot off the walls so easily.

Absorb soot sponges
These are great ceiling was smoky with log fire used these and were magic took soot off and now have a white ceiling

Waste of money
Totally useless product. Did not make the slightest bit of difference. Put them in bin. Would not buy again
