Nice component of the SimpliSafe security system
It's nice to have smoke alarms connected to security alarm system. Even if we are out of town the smoke alarms will notify us and the fire department. The bad thing is that when the battery is low it doesn't give a warning, it alarms regardless of the time. The other problem is that the only way to disable the alarm is with the keypad. I don't know what will happen if we are traveling when the smoke alarm goes off. Overall, I like SimpliSafe security system, I have over 30 pieces of their equipment, I've been using it in several locations for over 7 years. Even though I like SimpliSafe I have to say that their technical support is a pain, I've spent hours on the phone with tech support.

Has never worked properly. Get low battery chirp and yellow light. Replace battery and soon after the same thing happens.
