LOVE the Solar Fountain Pump. Super easy to put together. Very quiet operation. Once the solar panel is exposed to the Sun, it immediately starts working with impressive water flow. The kit comes with many different types of nozzles and a clear plastic tube which is super thoughtful. The birds and insects love my water fountain too. Unfortunately, it stopped working recently. I was overjoyed when the vendor responded to me right away. I had trouble shooted the solar fountain pump for a couple of weeks. The vendor offered to send me a replacement right away, which made me really happy and impressed by the customer service. Two thumbs 👍👍 way up!

I read all the reviews before I purchased this, and in spite of the complaints about random shadows ceasing the fountain activity, I bought it anyway. The reviews are true and correct, any slight interference with the sun (passing clouds, overcast skies, my own shadow, etc.) does cause the pump to halt immediately. This solar panel does not store the suns power - not even a smidge - so if that's what you need, this is not the product for you. However, for my purposes, this is perfect. My goal was to create a hummingbird fountain and provide a daily water source for my hummers and butterflies. I don't need the pump to run at night, that would just cause faster evaporation. Even when the pump is not running, there is still a water source for my friends, as I have it set up to keep a small bowl full. When the sun shines again, the pump resumes it's purpose of recycling the water and keeps it moving. I can't really speak to longevity yet because I've only had this for about a week now and so far it has not disappointed. If it does, I'll come back and update. The pump arrived on time and was neatly packaged. All the parts were there and in perfect condition. Comes with a little instruction manual too and was very easy to assemble. I included a measuring tape with my pictures to show the panel size, it is pretty small, but it does the job as intended. I do wish the cord was longer because I would love to have mounted the panel on my roof - once the sun sets past my awning my little fountain is done for the day. The clear hose has a curve to it from being in the package which resulted in the fountain not shooting straight up, it wants to maintain the curve resulting in a lop-sided spray. To resolve this, I found a small piece of red PVC laying around and ran the clear hose up through it to keep it pointed straight up - worked perfect. I saw a review or two that said the tips don't fit the hose but after a bit of persuasive wiggling the tip went on and worked as advertised. In fact the tips worked so well that they sprayed higher than I needed for this project so I did a bit of modifying to my hose and PVC contraption until I got the spray height I wanted. Again, keep in mind that the height of the spray is directly related to the strength of the sun. Strong sun = strong spray. And I can switch the tips whenever I want. Btw, there is no ON-OFF switch on this, but not to worry, once the water at the bottom of the planter (or pond or whatever you use) gets too low, the pump automatically shuts off so that it doesn't burn itself out. I like that a lot. So, I guess it's all about what you will be using it for. I am super happy with mine and plan to create another fountain for my rock garden. I will be buying again.

I can't speak to longevity since I just installed it, but the solar panel works well and the pump, while tiny, is enough to move the water in my stock tank. I bought this to replace a floating one since my livestock wouldn't stop playing with it. I like that it sits under the water where they can't get it and the suction cups are perfect. I do wish the fountain pieces were longer so I could put it on the ground. However, it's totally sufficient to keep the water surface moving and prevent mosquitoes from laying in it

Absolute junk. I bought 3 of them. 2 last year that died after a few months. I figured that was on me because I didn't keep after them to clean them. Bought another this year. Had it 3 days. It was running beautiful this morning and now it's dead. Water sensor light is working. Turns blue but the propeller does not spin. Pulled everything apart and cleaned it (it wasn't dirty). Light turns red when removed from water like it's supposed too. Turns blue when submerged and no water flow happens. I use it in a bird bath and unfortunately I have to use solar powered pumps due to location. For the video I have the solar panel sitting in a window for power.

I put in a little water fountain and I bought this Solar fountain and it worked perfect. I would buy another one. It's durable. The pump was good quality. Good looking! Size is great and the water flow is perfect as long as the sun stays out

it works as expected but crapped out after winter. for the price though, what do you expect? quality is not great but it does work while it lasts...

The pump suddenly stopped working after six weeks of use and many cleanings of the included sponge filter. I wrote complaining and asking for a replacement. The next day, your customer service sent a checklist and a tutorial. After watching your video, I was able to open up the casing. What I found was a tiny little millet seed that was jamming the impeller. Once I removed that and reassembled everything, the little fountain pump is working again. I use this fountain in a bird bath so little seeds are always clogging the sponge filter. Just now, I slipped a nylon stocking over the filter in hopes that it will make it easier to clean and keep these little seeds from getting inside the motor casing again. I appreciate your quick response, the informative video and your offer to replace the pump if none of the things on the checklist worked.

This is my second pump. The first one lasted two years even when I let it run out of water occasionally. I consider that money well spent for the amount of birds I made happy. The second one lasted 6 months and then wouldn't run anymore. Even though I was well past my return period the company stood behind its product and sent me another. I will always purchase my pumps from them, they have excellent customer service.
