Bulky for what it does but very good if you have arthritic hands...
Some reviews state this device does not squeeze all the juice out of the fruit. This was not an issue for me. I tried it initially on a standard UK supermarket lemon (probably the smallest available in the western world) and it coped very well. I tested that by trying to get more juice out of what was left of the fruit, but the difference was minimal. This was purchased because I thought my wife would have less difficulty with this squeezer than other types and that is the case: it takes a lot less effort. The unit juices without pushing pips or bits out of itself. It is well made and cleans very easily. Quality product.

Game changer!
This is such a good item! So glad we got this. Fits regular sized lemons fine when cut in half. However today I tried to fit a Costco lemon and they were massive! So I did have to cut into quarters, but that was nothing at all and it juiced great still. I normally try and squeeze as much as I can, let go/release, then squeeze again just to make sure! Does limes no problem too, although they are smaller so I can fit a whole lime cut in half in it. If you don't fill it at least halfway, it does not squeeze all the juice efficiently. Just be aware that you may need to manipulate the shape of larger lemons or adjust the amount of limes to fit in to squeeze. I guess you could do orange chunks too, why not!

Easy to use press
The press works great, but there’s a small issue in that the press doesn’t really get all of the juice out because it doesn’t press all the way to the bottom of the chamber. But it’s a very good item

Look no further for the best citrus press
Already have the potato ricing version of this and that works a treat. These are just as good and very robust. Far better than the standard metal presses.

It’s great
It is easy to use. Somewhat pricey, and you have to rearrange your citrus after the first squeeze in order to get all the juice out, and sometimes you think you could have got more! There is a little dome in the top part of the squeezer, and I’m not convinced that it should be there. If I had designed it I think I might have kept it flat, or even made it convex rather than concave. Anyway, I have other squeezers, but I reach for this one every time, so my psyche seems to like it! It’s very easy to rinse too.

£ 100.00 Wasted
This product has obviously had minimal end user feedback which I find hard to believe of a company such as Joseph Joseph. I squeeze lemons every single day and when I saw this device I thought it would be a good addition to my kitchen. How wrong can one be???? Very! Cut a normal size lemon in half and you quickly find that the female part of the device is not deep enough. You then have to try and press the male part in to get it on to the spiral before you can start squeezing, whilst doing this lemon juice is coming out where you do not want it. No doubt they will say that I should cut the lemon into smaller pieces. If was to do so there would part of the lemon unsqueezed as there is a concave section on the end of the male part, small amounts agreed, but annoying when you buy a product to do one job only, which it doesn’t do very well. As you can see from the pictures, when I was squeezing it today, making hummus, as I do all the time, the guides came out of the flutes (unsure if that is the correct wording) and it banged against the side of my Magimix jug and cracked it. This is not a well designed product, it’s bulky compared with my old one: which I will be buying again, it doesn’t do the job and it has now cost me a lot of money having to replace the jug, get a new squeezer and swallow the wasted money on this thing. Joseph Joseph make some good products and I have bought some of them; chopping boards are ok and the garlic press is probably the best one I have ever used. The ice tray is useless, snapped mine after no time at all. I have written this just after breaking the jug but the comments are factual, not emotive. Kind regards Scott

Absolutely Fantastic!!
Bought this to be able to get as much juice as possible out of lemons and limes. Used it for the first time yesterday to make a lemon drizzle cake. I couldn't believe how much juice it actually got out of the fruit, it was amazing. I drizzled the juice of 2 lemons (with sugar) over a 2lb loaf cake and let it all soak in. I will be testing the cake today and expect it to be incredibly moist, hopefully not soggy and incredibly lemony. Would definitely recommend and look forward to many more years of use as its incredibly robust.
