Would this pill box be water proof?

Dear friends, this medicine box has a double structure, which is resistant to splashing water and rain, but there is no sealing ring, so it is not safe to throw it in the water.

I'm looking for something to carry those single-use packets of benedryl, advil, etc. Could I cut out the compartments and just use the clamshell case?

looking at mine I suppose you could but it wouldn't be easy. when you take the clear plastic top off, the dividers are pretty thick. you would need to use like a dremel or something similar to grind them out or a heated up blade to melt as you tried to cut them out. I would image you could find another small container with out dividers. You could use an Altoids container, lol.

Are these deep enough to hold insulin pen needles?

I don't believe the container is long enough to hold the pen. I am not sure about the needles, as I don't take insulin. Hope that helps.
