At full price this battery is very expensive so it’s worth waiting until it comes up on sale. It’s 36v so a powerful battery which normally lasts around an hour per charge so I always have a spare to carry on working. I use this battery on a strimmer and a hedge trimmer and I find them much easier to use than the petrol equivalents. These batteries don’t last for ever and I probably replace one each year. But I do have a large garden.

A great quality product well worth buying the original product copies are not quality made.

I bought this replacement battery in July 2023. I own a B & D strimmer and a hedge trimmer, purchased in 2016. Both good product. Last year one of the batteries failed which I thought was not unreasonable after about 7 years. The replacement battery worked well up until a few weeks ago when it ceased to charge properly. I guess I was lucky that it failed before the expiration of the warranty. I sent a claim to be B & D who handled everything very efficiently, arranged free-of-charge collection of the faulty battery and supplied a replacement a couple of weeks later. Reading reviews here I see that number of people have had failures of batteries purchased in 2023 and I wonder if there was a bad batch. My other battery purchased in 2016 still seems to be going strong. It was disappointing that the battery failed but the warranty replacement was exemplary. Make sure you keep proof of purchase documentation such as the invoice which can be accessed through Amazon.

Originally bought in 2016, my Black and Decker strimmer had been flagging over time, giving me barely 10 minutes of life before fizzling out. Since there was nothing wrong with the strimmer mechanism, and new ones are not cheap, I decided to chance a new battery. It's been a revelation. The run time is noticeably longer (about 25 minutes), but even more importantly it's back to its old power. I hadn't noticed over time how much weaker the old battery had been getting, even on a full recharge. And, provided you don't completely drain it, the battery takes about half an hour to recharge, which is much quicker than the old one. This strategy probably wouldn't have worked a few years ago as replacement batteries have been very expensive, but prices seem to have come down. At £58 it's still not cheap, but it's bought me a few more years of strimmer life. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

After charging of the battery. It lasts no longer than 10 to 15 minutes. Then you have to recharge it again and it goes the same. Very dissatisfied

Standard battery seemed to have the ability to expire just before the job was completed and a recharge a pain in the back end. A spare, charged battery to hand is beyond useful and I have no regrets about buying it.

So far charges well and works well. Fits the kit and lasts well. Very happy with purchase.

The battery is for my B&D lawn mower they last barely 2 yrs and each time to replace is £70 plus you have to have 2 because I find the mower doesn’t cut my lawns in one go I have to change batteries halfway as te charge takes time …. Saying that though I still wouldn’t be without a battery run mower I find it a great tool so easy to use and gives a great result

Je recommande: cette batterie apporte une bonne autonomie et un bon rapport qualité prix comparé aux produits dit "compatibles". Leur autonomie et durabilité sont bien inférieures à la batterie Black et Decker. Pour rappel: Pour préserver la batterie dans le temps, ne pas oublier de laisser refroidir après utilisation avant de faire une recharge. Indispensable d'avoir plusieurs batteries pour la rotation sur les appareil portatifs.
