A story that cuts across all age barriers transcends all age groups. A story that tells of undying love, attachment, heartbreak then followed by the miracle of rejuvenation, the magic and wonder of regainment, in a far better form, finally. This story is a story that gives hope that love, longing, yearning and faith do make miracles happen. A story that serves as a lesson to all of us in being careful and realise the values of what is being thrown away. It is a story of miracles that happen in the face of ruthless human 'rationalism.' A priceless lesson that everything animate and seemingly inanimate has a deep, lasting value of its own. Another book that belongs to this category is the book called Nothing by Mike Inkpen, which tells a similar story of a stuffed cat who remains in dirty condition, undiscovered for decades till a similar miracle restores him back to his first owner. Also a must buy and must read.

Nice
Had heard a lot about this book, mainly is American sitcoms. Good story no doubt but illustrations are a bit drab. Nevertheless, my 5 yr old enjoyed listening to it n asks us to read it quite often. I searched for colorful books of this story but they compromise on d beautifully written words that paint a picture in your mind.

Very awesome
It's a very small story ... Yet... For the child, it is an entertaining listen; for an adult, it has elements of philosophy to ponder upon ... And in all of this, you will think of praise for a writer, who could delve so deep inside a child's world to make a magic happen in form of this story.

Great
Great print for the price. Looks like a premium version worth a lot of money but is actually for 125 bucks.

Recommended by Rachel Green on Friends
Anything that Rachel recommends is flawless! A cute story worth spending my money on! Heard abt it in Friends when Chandler wants to gift it to Kathy, bt Kathy was a bloody cheater! Anyway the book has nothing to do with it bt I hate cheaters!
