I had it for about 9 months, when it broke and stopped working. Before that, it worked on and off for a month. You would turn it on, and sometimes it would just turn itself off right away. When you have a disabled patient, hanging in the air on a lift, you don't want to be trying to keep the scale from turning off. I contacted the company that made it, and they repaired it free of charge, but I had to pay $20 to ship it back to them, and it was out of commission for about 2-2.5 weeks. Why should I pay for shipping, when their product can't even last 1 year and work right? If I knew of another company that made this type of scale, I would buy that instead.
