Great and useful!
Edit: after about 2 years of keeping it wrapped around itself, the protective plastic wiring from the bottom of the gluegun has fallen away. The glue gun still works great, but you can see the individual red/green/yellow wires as the outer casing has “slipped off” a bit from the bottom (about 2-4cm). Advice to keep it flat when in storage to avoid this potential problem. This is a great glue gun for beginners because it comes with plenty of glue sticks and heats up in about 5-10 mins. It's very easy to use, though you have to be careful of the metal tip when operating because it can burn you. When you first use the gun, it will make some 'smoke' but the packaging says this is normal and it only happens the first few times you use it. It can take some practice but this gun can be quite precise and the glue holds quite well for some fabrics (so far I've only used it on felt, but it works great). It takes about 10-20 mins for the glue to set, and about 5 mins if you use only a line of glue. When the melted glue comes straight out of the gun, it can burn you as well, so be careful if excess glue leaks out of what you're gluing. As a crafting tip, it you try to apply more glue to an area which already has dried glue, the metal tip can slightly re-melt the dried glue. As a result, the original glue may fall apart and you might have to start over- the only way I found to avoid this is to make sure the tip doesn't come into too much contact with it. May be a stick can help move the glue in place.A very good buy, and I hope it will last me a while.

RAGNAROS Hot Melt Glue Gun
A Hot Melt Glue Gun, is one of those little gadgets that you don’t always have a use for, but are really handy to have around the house.I bought the RAGNAROS glue gun, as my partner wanted to make some decorations for Christmas as I knew it would be perfect for the job and would also come in handy in the next couple of years as my son gets older and wants to make things. This particular gun is 60W, which is more powerful than many of the cheaper guns, is made from a very solid feeling plastic which does not creak at all when pulled or twisted and has a very comfortable handle (far more comfortable than the old Bosch gun that I had, before somebody “borrowed” it).The handle also houses a handy on/off switch.Glue sticks are placed into the gun at the rear and are fed through to the fairly small tip of the gun, which is great for accurate placement of glue. Finally, a little fold up stand is located towards the front of the gun, to keep the tip away from your work surface when you put it down.***** In The Box *****1 x RAGNAROS Glue gun1 x Stand30 x Glue Sticks***** Conclusion *****I’m really pleased that I went for this particular glue gun, as it feels like it is a good quality product and is really comfortable in the hand when using it.I really like that it heats up nice and fast (around 5 mins), so you do not have to wait around too long before using it and I really like the small nozzle, which makes it a little easier to place the glue exactly where you want it.The 30 glue sticks that are included with the gun, make this a great value for money product.

Well made, doesn't drip
Quality glue gun. Doesn't continue 'oozing' after trigger is released.

Well worth it
We've got two other hot glue guns and I bought this primarily for the glue sticks, but after just making sure it worked, I realised that this was by far better than our other two. The gun doesn't get hot at the end unlike others which I've used in the past that may burn your fingers if you touch the plastic casing, but this was very well insulated. Another safety feature is that it has an on off switch which is ideal to use when stopping as well as unplugging so that it doesn't stay on and waste power. The glue in the pack is smooth and works very well, holding together very well once dried. It's also very easy to control, well worth the money spent on it. The one downside is it drips a bit.

Just the job!
I have only use a cheaper hot glue gun before which was OK, but after pricing up extra glue stick decided to purchase this hot glue gun as it us more substantial as well as having bigger glue sticks. It is a big improvement on my previous glue gun. Very easy to use, plug in, switch on, wait for the glue to heat and away you go. It is lightweight and naturally gets warm to touch, but not hot. The glue sticks, and holds quickly. I've only used it at the moment to decorate a couple of small wooden boxes, and to repair the lid on one of them, but I'm sure it will be a go to item for repairs.

I did not expect this to be useful over a normal adhesive but it is
Amazing and powerful hot glue gun, just what I needed for my DIY activities.I was skeptical about a hot glue gun and found myself using normal strong adhesive prior to having this. However, I soon realised there are many benefits to a hot glue gun, included but not limited to:Traditional glues can take several minutes, and they can cause you to have to hold on to the item to keep the two surfaces together while the glue dries. With a hot melt adhesive the drying time is cut down to seconds, leaving you free to continue on with your next task.Hot melt adhesives are some of the cheapest on the market. This can be very helpful if you are looking to use a lot amount of it. The savings over time can be considerable. If the products or items you are looking to adhere will be in any way coming in contact with water or moisture, such as boxes for shipping food, hot melt adhesives are resistant to water, moisture and humidity. This gun comes with a large pack of 30 hot glue melt sticks.I thoroughly recommend if you do any form of DIY, you need this.

The glue gun that doesn't drip!!!
I've been searching for a glue gun that doesn't drip for ages, I use mine most days. I studied reviews on so many guns, and narrowed it down to 2 models. First was woeful dripping continuously, I returned it to amazon and bought this one, delighted with it! I was dubious because it didn't have variable temperature but it works perfect. Never burns glue even when you forget to turn it off, and no big glue drip pile underneath. Perfect for the crafter who need precision
