Excellent
I’ve been using Vallejo acrylic paints for miniature painting for quite some time, and they consistently deliver excellent results. The paint has a smooth, creamy consistency straight from the bottle, making it easy to apply with both brushes and airbrushes. It provides great coverage in thin layers, which is ideal for building up colour gradually without obscuring fine details on miniatures. The pigmentation is rich and vibrant, producing crisp, clean colours that dry to a nice matte or satin finish depending on the range. They mix well on a wet palette, allowing for smooth blending, layering, and glazing techniques—perfect for both beginners and experienced hobbyists. One of Vallejo’s standout features is the dropper bottle design. It’s precise, reduces waste, and helps keep the paint fresh over time. The bottles are easy to shake, and the paint doesn’t separate excessively even after sitting for a while, which speaks to its quality. The range of colours is extensive, covering everything from natural tones and military shades to bright fantasy hues, metallics, washes, and mediums. The paints also clean up easily with water, which makes them very user-friendly. Overall, Vallejo acrylics are reliable, versatile, and professional-quality paints that are perfect for miniature painting, model kits, and hobby work. Whether you’re basecoating, highlighting, or blending, they offer excellent control and a beautiful finish every time.

The White Stuff
Vallejo paints are excellent. This paint is pre white and excellent for zenith highlighting and general painting. Does everything you would need it to do at a great price. I would love it if they started adding small metal balls to the paints but you can buy these separately if needed. As always, the paint is thick in its cover but thin enough to not deform model features. Recommend for any hobbyists or miniature painting enthusiasts.

A bit pale but nice quality
Goes on smoothly, easy to mix and good pigment levels. The finish is too pale in my opinion (loss of 1 star) and will almost certainly need mixing with another colour unless 'raw sausage' is what you're aimng for.

Works really well.
This is good stuff and I like that you can see where you’ve put it and can therefore make sure to remove it all. Be aware, though, that this is a tiny amount! Think nail varnish size, then maybe take some away! I hadn’t really appreciated that!

It’s great paint
Overall an excellent product. It fully fulfills the position of paint in a small bottle.the only real criticism is the paint does thicken over time. This is the second one I have purchased.

Excellent Gloss Finish – Protects and Shines Without Yellowing
This gloss varnish is a great final touch for models and miniatures that need a shiny, protective coat. It goes on smoothly with both brush and airbrush (just thin it slightly with Vallejo Thinner or a bit of water), and dries to a nice, even gloss without clouding or yellowing. It really brings out the richness of colors underneath and gives metallics an extra pop. Great for anything from lenses and gemstones to tanks, mechs, and fantasy armor. Best part? It's water-based and non-toxic, so it's safer to use indoors and easier to clean up. Just make sure to let your paints dry fully before applying, and give the varnish time to cure. Highly recommended for model makers, figure painters, and hobbyists looking for that final professional finish.

Good medium for beginner heavy metal painters
This is a really good glazing medium. I use it for painting Warhammer miniatures. I thin both Vallejo paints and other brands with this medium. You can customise your coverage using this and achieve varying consistency when you thin with water too. Unlike other mediums it doesn't have an odour. It's a regular sized army painting bottle so I feel like it could be bigger and better value for money but all the same I wouldn't take a star off for it. The medium itself isn't very watery and creates a gel like consistency with your paints when mixed 1;1.

Awesome paint for anyone working on an ocean scene diorama. Looks grey at first, but when blended / combined with layers of transparent blue, and lots of gloss varnish, it makes a very realistic ocean green color.

It is a little on the thick side so it actually goes further when you thin it out for airbrush.
