Plain Jane Lead Refills
My automatic carpenter pencil needs this size lead. Works great. Quality is good. Not exceptionally brittle (all such leads are somewhat brittle.) A pack of these will last well.

Just lead. They work. Always need a supply on hand because one of my three high school or college student children is always asking for more refill lead. Glad I don't have to run around town to find this product in this size.

Doesn’t break, Mildly prone to smudging
It’s a thick lead and is great for sketching and heavy handed writers, but it has a mild tendency to smudge if your hand is even a little moist. Still a great product for the price.

Great Lead That Won't Break
Works great in the lead pencil I also purchased. Sure was happy to find the thicker lead that does not break so easily.

Lead the same as every else’s.
Pentel lead is ok as well as any out there. I just wish someone would make a decent and sturdy mechanical pencil that will hold up. I’m not saying Pentel is bad but they the same as everyone else. I just want quality with quality .09 mm lead that won’t break easily. Can’t seem to find either anywhere on Amazon or stores. The pencils and lead that used to be quality have been turned into junk.

I use this refill for marking painted steel for marking locations and where I need to cut. Marks well and doesn’t break like a lot of others. Highly recommend this product.

These do not break so easily, I prefer them over the 0.7 and 0.5 lead refills. I can never get them in the store as they are always out of stock or have none. They are so worth it. Highly underrated, I highly recommend!
