Aromo Premium ESE Coffee Pods - Mixed Selection Pack x 100 ESE Pods

The only thing I can really fault these on is the best before end as mine came with about 2 months on the due date. It would also be nice if smaller packs were available, such as 5 or 10 of each. But with most ESE purchases you looking at around 100 pads.This pack comes with 4 flavours, which are all nice.BuzzLite - 3 Strength DecafinatedBuzz - 3 StrengthBounce - 5 StrengthBoost - 6 StrengthFor those unfamiliar with ESE pods, here is a quick explanation.ESE pods are basically a standardised measure ground coffee in a kind of tea bag, (individually foil wrapped for freshness). To use them you simply put them into your pump expresso instead of ground coffee. If your machine doesn't have a specific filter you can usually use the single shot. Unless you specifically want freshly ground coffee, these are a good way to go, as they aren't messy, and handy if you find that you have to make a few coffees at a time.

I usually grind my own coffee from beans, but as I needed some decaf coffee for visitors, I thought I'd give this mix pack a go. As they are individually wrapped they should stay fresh for quite some time. They are far more fast/convenient than grinding your own beans and tamping, as well as in terms of the clean up after you've made a cup.I've tried all of the varieties in the pack and the 'buzz' blend is easily the best taste wise. The Bounce and Boost pads are stronger caffeine wise, but what they gain in strength, they loose in taste complexity.Compared to beans, ESE coffee pads tend to produce a more watery consistency of coffee, I assume because the coffee oils aren't able to as readily escape - or that is at least my experience in the two De'Longhi machined I've tried them in. I've not tried a competing pod system like Nespresso, so I can't say whether this is a weakness in all pod system or just the ESE coffee pads. It could also be a weakness in the De'Longhi machines themselves, which don't have the strongest pumps.

Was having the kitchen redone and had to move our Dedica coffee machine into the lounge so we needed something more tidy than our usual go to coffee grounds. Tried many brands of pods and these are by far the best. Very tasty, superb aroma, and has decaf for the occasions where you need that. Have re-bought these many times.

First time buying these ESE pods. The water doesn't seem to filter through them easily and I end up with half a cup of coffee. I wont be buying them again. Its a Delonghi Dedica machine I use and I have had no issues with other pods.

This coffee is just “OK”. Purchased because my usual brand was not available but don’t think I will buy again.

Really pleasantly surprised with the taste - compared well with the much more expensive brand I bought at same time. Handy to use pods when in a hurry instead of grinding beans etc.

Great selection of flavour

Only fault I have is that the pods didn’t come in a box as shown in the picture. Instead there were just 100 individuals pods stuffed in a massive box, so I don’t reallf have anywhere to store them. The actually coffee is nice though, so I guess they were still worth the money.
