As long as you know how to use the stones and how to properly sharpen your blades, this item will benefit you. I have used to in all my knives and I can cut more cleanly and more effective with ease. It is safe to use. I recommend watching a tutorial online to have the best outcome for your blades when using this item.

This is nice to have aa a hobbyist, but isn't very high quality and is far less convenient than most common knife sharpeners. The control and care you can take with these is fine, and worth trying out, but unless you have the free time to spend an hour sharpening a few knives, you won't be using these very often.

Decent for the price. Stones nowhere near flat initially. Comes with flattening stone-ok but takes work. I put the whole kit away with some parts still moist and mold grew on the bamboo in 2 days. Past the return date. I can make them work for now
