I like the assortment and feel it's a good deal. I do not know why these are shipped in a non-padded envelope which results in a busted case. Just like the other reviewer said, thankfully the parts are in individual bags so none were lost. I will move these to other storage bins that are not broken but that adds to the price. I would like to see an assortment with no case, just little bags.

Real time saver when you are putting something together and need a slightly longer or shorter socket head screw. Saves a trip to the hardware store or worse waiting for mail.The screws are well made, strong socket head and perfectly formed threads which hold with tenacity.

This is a handy, useful assortment of a wide variety of sizes of high-strength, long-lasting, corrosion-free metric fasteners.The plastic box everything come in is adequate, and the short, movable separators seem to be solid enough. Everything stays in place pretty well.One complaint is that each separate group of items comes in a little plastic bag, stuffed into the designated compartment in the carry-case. Twenty-one little bags to cut open and empty into the appropriate space. Six compartments for each size (M2, M3, or M4) bolts, and one compartment for that size nuts.The other complaint is that there are flat and split washers for each size, and both types are in two little bags in ONE compartment. So if the bags of washers were opened, should they be mixed together in the eighth compartment? If not, and only one type of washer went into that compartment, where would the other type of washer go?My final complaint is that the tweezers - which admittedly are handy for picking up a single small fastener or nut - are um... cheesy. They feel slightly stronger than aluminum foil.Again, this is a great selection of commonly used fasteners. I'm glad I got it.

I have ordered similar kits of hardware before and received sorting nightmares. Normally the package is loose or the dividers are loose so the screws, nuts, cotter pins.... you name it end up all jumbled, or worse yet lost to the mail. When you first open the package the screw set case is in a sealed plastic bag, so if any screws somehow managed to get loose they would be contained, so that you still receive them. Next the case itself has a shrink wrap band around it lengthwise to keep the lid secured, finally each of the screws nuts and washers are individually bagged!!! The hardware is all nice and clean and does not have the light oil or grease that similar hardware is usually packed in. All of this adds up to a hardware assortment that is easy to use without the hassle of sorting each piece, and then having to degrease it before use. I have only used a few of the m4 screws so far on one of my 3d printers, and they installed perfectly without trying to cross-thread or bind. Great product and great assortment to keep around especially if you use or need the smaller metric sized screws.

I am a huge fan of assortment sets like this to store in my work bench. There’s nothing worse than going to fix something around the house or putting something together you just bought only to realize you need a screw/nut/washer of a specific size. Then you rummage around your “miscellaneous hardware” jar and can’t find anything that fits, you spend time going to the hardware store, and if you find it there you spend $5 or more on a small bag of it. Avoid all of that with sets like this.This set looks to be high quality - I don’t see any bent or broken bolts or washers, and unlike other sets I have bought from Amazon in this set each compartment is individually bagged so nothing is in the wrong place. They also give you the allen wrenches you need and tweezers (helpful given how many tiny washers and bolts there are in this set). The only thing I would suggest is to make each compartment bag a zip lock bag so after you open it you can reseal it but that’s not that important.

This kit is pretty much as expected, SS M2, M3, and M4 screws in 6 different lengths (6mm up to 30mm long for some sizes), complete with nuts, washers, and split washers. Great for fabricating or repairing small parts and machines. It's a handy set for repairs requiring a small fasteners. The case is adequate to hold each size separate from each other to keep it all organized, the compartments are labeled on the top cover with a photo and size, as well as a quantity - making for easy reference! They even included allen wrenches to fit, and tweezers to help grasp some of the smaller fasteners!
