I have been working on repairing my 2018 MacBook Pro, replacing damaged parts of the logic board, and needed a new set of USB ports for the left side (loose connection and no longer charged correctly). This product was a great replacement, just like the original part. Easy enough to swap out on the daughter board once popped off the original from the laptop’s logic board, and no issues using it once installed. USB speeds, charging, and video output work just as before. Overall, this product does the job.

It was cheap, fast, and fairly easy to swap out. The quality is acceptable; it works with no issues. I use the iFixIt.com instructions.. I recommend them for your macbook DIY repairs... And I recommend Amazon partner up with them because everyone looking to keep their 'puter on the road a little bit longer always seems to go from ifixit to amazon..and back :-) Recommended.
