So comfortable on-the-ear and so light
Great product from Jabra. I bought for my wok from home need and I bought mono to allow me to hear around me and myself when I am talking on the phone using headset. I have another dual over the ear headset but using that for conference calls for an hour makes ears sweat and it becomes uncomfortable. But this Jabra headset sits nicely on the ear and extremely comfortable - thanks to the padding. Microphone is amazingly sensitive and clear and also smart enough to not pic up sound when folded up. Muting functionality is very useful. It can extend to fit on a bigger head size and on top of hat or turban. Battery life is the one area where it lasts for about 4 hours of continuous use but it comes with a usb cable which acts as dual function- charging and wired call.I bought UC version and using with Microsoft Teams but it does not answer calls on Teams by using button. I can connect easily to mobile by NFC or bluetooth- very easy. It announces when connected or disconnected. I am using the supplied dongle with my laptop and it connects without any effort. Lastly the sound leak is not too bad either. Overall,a great product and well recommended.

Excellent quality
This headset is excellent quality. I wanted a wireless over ear headset and having tried some cheaper products spending that bit more is certainly worth it. It connects really easily, the sound quality is great and is comfortable to wear for long periods. Thus far the battery has lasted all day on a single charge. I went for the model without the charging cradle and can't see the value in the extra cost (circa £60 for this) when all it takes is to plug the headset in at the end of the day to recharge. All in all very pleased.

Great headset with a few minor flaws.. would definitely recommend!
I bought this headset because I found most gaming headsets to be far too large, enclosing the ears and blocking out surrounding sound (which obviously is the intention, but I found the pressure on my ears very uncomfortable). I often found myself leaving one headphone off due to this (that and generally getting too hot from bulky earcups) but friends kept complaining of echos resulting from the microphone picking up that headphones audio. This headset eliminates pretty much all the issues I've had. The microphones great, the audio quality is nice and clear (though obviously may not stand up to comparison with headsets designed specifically for entertainment), and headset (although fairly spartan in design) is comfortable and I find I can wear it for hours at a time without any discomfort. With the mono headphone design, I can still clearly hear my surroundings and audio output from my main speakers, while also hear the conversation on the headset. There are some new issues I hadn't encountered previously that have arisen with this completely different style of headset, but nothing I'd consider a dealbreaker.. mostly little niggling things, which I'll list below. Overall I'd say this is a great headset. Possibly a little pricey, but not overly expensive compared to others of its type. Pros: - Headset and microphone quality are nice and clear, perfect for voice chat. - Audio cancellation is great - I often have music/video/game audio playing on my speakers during conversations, and have had no reports of that audio coming through. - No lag in voice transmission that I'm aware of. - Battery lasts for quite a few hours of constant use, and charges quickly. - Volume/Call Answer/Mute buttons are fairly intuitive to use, and the option to have audible feedback letting you know if you are muted and so on is quite useful. - Microphone swivels to either side, allowing headset to be used on either ear. - Headphone is comfortable and unobtrusive. Cons: Nothing major, mostly just minor annoyances that may be very particular to me, but I thought I'd mention them all the same. - Voice apps other than Skype seem to have a little trouble with the headset (such as Discord), not always registering that there is an audio device connected (even though the microphone is transmitting, the headset audio doesn't always route to the headset, but sometimes out my main speakers). I'm not certain if the issue lies with Jabra or Discord itself. I'm not really dropping the star rating because of this, but it is a slightly annoying issue as I have to manually switch audio sources every time I want to use the headset. - The advertised range is in a completely unobstructed area (such as an open plan office). In practise, the signal will drop out with even one solid wall between you and the bluetooth dongle (and this with the bluetooth range set to 'normal', the highest it will go). It's not a major flaw and obviously not an issue for most people, I just like to be able to continue a conversation when I have to leave my desk. - The supplied charging cable is pretty short. I realize this product is mainly intended for use in fairly close proximity to your computer, but in my particular situation (due to limitations in room layout), the nearest available charging USB port is well over a meter away from me, which makes charging the headset while in use impractical. Still, at least Jabra opted for micro USB charging for this headset rather than a proprietary connector, so getting a longer cable isn't an issue. Was a bit annoyed to discover they hadn't released the charging dock at the same time as this headset (which was originally a factor in my decision to purchase). - The magnet meant to hold the microphone to the headband when the headset is not in use is not particularly strong, and only really works if you haven't bent the flexible end of the boom too far from its original shape. Again, not really a dealbreaker, but it's made me jump a few times when the microphone randomly pings away from the headset and hits something on my desk. - The microphone boom is apparently pretty noisy to move around during a conversation. It rotates on little notches, which are great for helping it to maintain its position.. but if you try and adjust the rotation during a call, the sound is audible to everyone on the receiving end. - I've seen comments saying that the headband is a bit flimsy and easily snapped, and I can see how that might happen as it is made of plastic.. but to be honest I've not had this issue. I think if you treat your equipment with care, you will never have this problem. Overall the advantages of this headset far outweigh a few minor annoyances, I'd definitely recommend it.

Seems great but for dual device usage it will drive you crazy!
The Jabra 65 on the face of it seems a nice product and when received again it’s well made comfortable and you’d think just what you need! The device comes pre-pared to the little USB Bluetooth dongle for your laptop/PC which is nice and even when first pairing the device to your mobile you get a nice feeling as the switch is good and the audible feedback in ear really nice! However then things start to go badly wrong with this headset. I’ve got TWO of these now as I was hoping the first one would be a dodgy unit but no they both act identically (either Skype or UC version which I cannot even tell the difference between as both come with the dongle and both act the same). First call you make you will be impressed wondering how you ever coped without it then over the day the experience goes downhill, it's really odd how the quality seems to drop but others have mentioned the same and it's true. These are the behaviours I have with BOTH headsets: 1) When on a PC call any sound from the mobile can fade out mute the PC audio and fade it back in, you don’t get it “over the top” which wouldn’t be so bad but the fading time makes it seem like the other person is not there on the PC call. “You cant speak to two people at once?” I hear you say.. No but consider system sounds, message alert tones, diary reminder tones heck even keypad tapping clicks messed my PC call up. This headset cannot seem to tell you’re actively using a device and not interrupt the other one. A system of swapping between devices is needed but this doesn’t exist with this headset, the way it does it is “automatic” and does it really badly. 2) After first pairing to the phone (iPhone 7 used completely with this review) it will work well but as day moves on maybe walking in and out of range of it (I really don’t know) you will find the headset just will not work with the mobile, you select Bluetooth audio on phone when you answer a call, phone will believe its playing to Bluetooth headset as it mutes from speaker but nothing on headset. Turning headset off, on, off on will eventually re-ignite this connection but do that on a call and it’s infuriating for you and the caller!!! 3) Again Bluetooth to mobile… Sometimes (like this very morning prompting me to write this review!) I turned headset back on placed it on my head and got “Mobil (whats a mobil!!!!!) connected”….. few seconds …. “Mobil disconnected”… few seconds later… “Mobil connected”… few seconds later…. “Mobile disconnected” you get the idea it went on and on… On iPhone Bluetooth screen sure enough it was showing Jabra Evolve 65 flicking between connected and disconnected. ARGH!!!! How did I fix it? The usual thing you find yourself doing when the mobile just stops working with this headset is to FORGET on phone, put headset into pairing mode and re-pair! Now its connected fine again which just shows a problem, I’ve not moved locations, not turned phone off and on simply deleting pairing and repairing. I find myself doing this every day I use this headset. 4) Sound quality. Quite good with the Jabra Bluetooth dongle for PC but mobile… Sorry “Mobil”… can be again good when you first pair but after a while absolutely AWFUL. Generally metallic noises are always heard on high notes (There is a firmware upgrade Feb/Mar 18 for this but it does not change this problem I have done it!). This is just the start, when the mobile has issues trying to connect as it does and you turn it off on off on to make it take audio through the headset the resulting call can be AWFUL with sound dropping in and out clipping notes etc DREADFUL… Again another pair unpair. The multiple call handling problem I *think* has something to do with it thinking the other channel is holding something open as sometimes pulling the PC dongle out waiting a few seconds and switching back seems to help but not totally sure… As I said I’ve firmware upgraded, I’ve reset to defaults after firmware upgrade and started over but NOTHING WILL HELP THIS HEADSET WORK PROPERLY I have many years IT experience to understand these things and I’ve had enough with it. Quite frankly this second headset is going back under return window and I’m tempted to use the first simply for my Laptop audio only as it’s SO BAD with the mobile Bluetooth! Hope this helps someone and if helpful click the helpful button, cheers :)

Works very well, connects simply with PC and mobile. The only issue so far seems to be a few quirks with MS Teams integration which was one of the main reasons for purchasing.
