For the amount of coffee beans I dump into my percolator to make one cup of strong coffee, I thought I would be better off making cold brew and squeezing every last drop of caffeine out of my beans. This pitcher is functional, easy to clean, screw together, and has the little measuring tick marks on the side. For $20 it's a great deal. I'm now enamored with the whole mason jar thing and it's appealing to have a giant mason jar pitcher. Also the plastic lid screws on tight, my arms being stronger than some, so I had to be careful not to screw it on tighter. It's a 64oz mason jar, but with the filter filled with 8oz of ground coffee it's slightly less. The instructions say to use 8oz of coffee grounds with 64oz water, I didn't come up with that myself. Also, you have to grind your own beans: the pre-ground beans from the store are too fine and seeped out of my metal tea strainers that I already had from a different brand/appliance. I didn't experiment with putting store bought grounds in this strainer, no desire to potentially drink coffee with fine grounds in it. So in addition to this pitcher I ended up buying a Black&Decker basic coffee grinder, to get coarse grinds. I also labeled the lid with the date/time my 24-hour batch would be ready, with a red wax pencil. you can use masking tape or whatever, sharpie washes off plastic with dish soap sometimes. Overall this is a decent pitcher for making your own cold brew coffee.

First off this company has the best customer service if something breaks you just return and replace so simple and easy! Comes in beautiful colors, good quality glass jug which I love! So easy and straightforward to make cold brew and clean! Love this product!! Use it everyday! Definitely recommend again and again!

This cold brew pitcher works great. The filter keeps even fine coffee grounds out of the cold brew. However, the glass quality does not last for quick temperature changes. My pitcher shattered after taking it out of the fridge and leaving it on the counter next to my hot coffee maker! It got hot too quickly without liquid being poured in. Silly me for leaving it too close but…..If you purchase this just be very conscious of temperature changes!

This is my first experience with cold brewing. This product was surprisingly simple, well made and inexpensive. The coffee turned out smooth and less bitter.

This cold brew maker works perfectly for me! It brews the coffee very nicely and no grounds have fallen through the filter. It’s very simple to put together and use, and it holds quite a bit of coffee, nine usually last me a whole week. This is definitely worth the price, the glass isn’t cheap and even the plastic cap is sturdy and strong to hold it.

Bought for the holiday season for cold brew tea as mix with alcohol. I’m very pleased with the result although I wish the instructions gave information about ratios of tea or coffee to water and how much time it takes. The quality of the product is very good and I love the seal to keep the finished product fresh in the fridge. Highly recommend
