April 2023 marks the 50th anniversary of the release of David Bowie's 'Aladdin sane', which was released only ten months after his breakthrough album 'The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars' (1972). The title track and songs such as 'Panic in Detroit', 'Lady Grinning Soul' and 'Time' marked a significant musical progression from its predecessor, adding brass, woodwind, soulful backing vocals and the distinctive piano playing of Mike Garson. This pressing was cut on a customised late Neumann VMS80 lathe with fully recapped electronics from 192kHz restored masters of the original master tapes, with no additional processing on transfer. This is amazing
I’m my view one of the top 3 Bowie albums, and this picture disc format is amazing, I love it. The photo on the disc is so striking and colourful - so glad to have bought this to add to my Bowie picture disc collection. The sound quality is awesome and takes me back to my youth! Very well packaged and delivered safely and securely. Great seller - I would highly recommend

Classic
A product of a place in time. A favourite album for a plethora of reasons. The half speed master offers a wider sound, and a number of other noticible changes. Some may listen and not notice any real discernable differences but this doesn't detract from what a brilliant album it is.

Held off getting this - was convinced it was a money making edition!... however.....
I was completely blown away as to how good this Half Speed Master sounds! No need to discuss the content, it's Aladdin Sane! Being the owner of an original UK LP 1973 release, 2 x CD releases (1990, 2003 30th Anniversary edition) and the 2016 Silver vinyl release. This Half speed Master in my opinion blows them all clean out of the water! Excellent channel spacing, Basses and trebles balanced perfectly. 180g LP comes in copy of original inner bag - no warping, scuffs or marks, plays and sounds amazing on my mid priced Marantz/ audio technica system. Artwork is a good copy. Have been acquainted with this LP for decades and this is the best sounding version I have heard. Recommended! (from some one as sceptical as me, who was convinced that this was a merely a Record company money maker - praise indeed!)

Well packaged clean black disc . Great pressing of this iconic album . Takes me back to when I was a teenager. Not audiophile quality but good all the same . My original was a bit worse for wear .

I recently purchased “Aladdin Sane” 50th Anniversary. The pressing is fantastic. Quiet and perfectly flat. Do not believe the negative comments. I have various vinyl issues on vinyl and this is definitely outstanding throughout. No clicks,pops. Don’t hesitate. Buy it. You won’t regret it. WOWIE ITS ANOTHER SPLENDID BOWIE MASTERPIECE!!!!!!!

Great issue!
The vinyl sounds superb. Flat and silent. I had no skipping issues, and would recommend this pressing without hesitation. A classic album that still merits a spin!

Bowie picture disc
Liked this when I bought it when it was originally released so bought it again this time as a picture disc soundquality is OK once the music starts but rumble sound before hand

I think this is one of bowie's best early works. Very nice sound reproduction on my 45-year-old audiophile gear. Amazon properly packed it so no damage to the cover.

No hay si quiera que emitir comentarios ante tan magistral obra, infravalorado trabajo de David Bowie pero está a la altura de Ziggy o Let’s Dance, siendo que la calidad de Aladin es la composición y la armonía melódica.
