Good for use when in a pinch..
Seems expensive when you compare it with other devices. If you are only going to be using it to connect laptops or such it might be better to get a device that only has a "receiver". Every modern laptop with win 10, or Apple OS, can "cast" its screen to a receiving device very very easily. Even phones and tablets can do it. No HDMI "transmitter" is needed. But if you have a non laptop/phone/tablet that you need to display, like a cable box or projector, then this is perfect. It should include a 5V power plug just incase your device does not have a free USB port. Ideally you should always use a HDMI cable as a long term solution. I'm not sure how this would hold up long term. But in a pinch, and running a wire is not an option, it works well

Cool, just expensive
The product is quite cool. It will certainly be useful in certain aspects. I think its a bit pricey though it does work.Follow the directions and it sets up very quickly. It boots connects in about 10 seconds.I don't love that both need to be plugged into a USB power source. The HDMI plug is so large it actually blocks my access to the USB cable. The developers must be aware of this, as they added an extension cord just in case. It just looks a bit messy very easily.Overall, cool gadget that I'm excited to use. Just need time to really integrate it into my setup in a way that isn't too messy and takes so many plugs!

Not that great!
I tried to connect this to my NVR box to my 4k TV, it will display a bit at the corner since the TV is too big and not support 4k. I get it.Quite expensive product but it is a seems a big size to plug to PC or any device and require USB power. I would prefer if it can be smaller size and does not require the external power.Another problem I hate the most that it will flapping the connection quite a bit during the time I use. Sometime it would stop transferring the Video for a few seconds. Then sometime just stopped completely. I had to unplug them plug it back again so annoying.
