Ecoegg 300 g Clay Hard Surface Cleaner, White

I bought this very sceptically after seeing the video but it really does work. I hate cleaning but have become slightly obsessive, trying to find something it won’t clean! It leaves a protective coating on cleaned surfaces, helping to keep them cleaner and repel water for longer. Things I have successfully cleaned so far: gold & silver jewellery; ceramic and stainless steel sinks and taps; crusty aga hob surround and front; stainless steel American fridge freezer; kitchen sides & cupboard fronts; grill pans; oven door glass; brass door handles; painted wooden doors; upvc window surrounds, sills frames & glass; baths; toilets; glass shower cubicles; tiled floors; tiled walls; and painted walls. Still looking for a challenge it can’t beat. You really don’t need to use much, so it lasts for ages, making it good value for money. After all the cleaning above there’s still over half left and I’ve cleaned almost everything already. As others have said for tough stains some elbow grease is needed, and it doesn’t get rid of limescale, but I use Viakal specifically for that and it’s highly toxic and noxious, it has to be because limescale is so difficult to get rid of. You wouldn’t want to use it everywhere or every day. For a natural, child, food and pet safe cleaner, I cannot recommend this product more highly.

When I bought this I thought it would be useful for the sink/draining board etc. But once you open it, you spend the day going round the whole house cleaning everything! I have to keep my bath tap on for the cat to drink from, this has caused a brownish water mark in the bath. Nothing had removed it - I had tried every product. This cleaner removed it in a couple of seconds and now the bath looks like new. The taps are all gleaming, it repels water as the other reviewer stated so great for all sinks, shower screens, taps etc. I also used it on marks on a white emulsion wall which saved me repainting! Also used for scuffs on white internal doors and white PVC threshold for patio doors which were very marked. Brilliant cleaner - though you will be exhausted cleaning everything in your home because once you start you cannot stop! I will definitely be buying another when this one runs out.

I’ve being using this fairly frequently and have been impressed with the results. It’s brought back the bright white of my grout and seals. Will be buying again. It looses a star however simply because for the price you don’t get a lot of product and certainly not what's shown in the picture which is misleading. Otherwise it’s a great product.

It does clean but very soon goes back to how it was. Certainly works well on sink and taps but does nothing to mold areas and it doesn't clean my oven as expected. I get the same efficiency with other products cheaper in price although not as healthy. The smell isn't great, hardly noticeable. Not impressed.

I bought this to replace all those terrible chemical cleaners thar we use in our homes which are bad for the environment, bad for our health and bad for the water systems. This is a great all round cleaner. It’s good on ovens inside and out, I actually thought it was better than severe oven cleaning chemicals and I’m not going to inhale harmful chemicals. It’s also great for cleaning windows and the plastic exteriors. I think everyone is pre conditioned to believe that strong chemicals are best that they don’t often give natural solutions a chance. Yes you have to wash residue off but you have to wipe down after most cleaners because they are so dangerous and could kill you if your food gets in contact with them... so not sure why it would be a deal breaker for people, I think if that’s the worst of the problems you have, then you should think yourself very lucky 🙄 I’d also recommend people switch to using white vinegar around the house much more effective than most branded chemical solutions.

simple but effective

I bought this as I saw it being advertised in Fb and I am a sucker for anything that makes my life easier around the home. Well ladies this is the stuff to use I was totally amazed at how quick it got the glass clean on my oven. No harmful chemicals no spraying and then having to evacuate the room because of the fumes catching the back of your throat. I followed the short instructions, and hey presto magic. Oven door looks great. I have also tried it on the stainless sink results exactly the same. Use it properly and you WILL get the perfect results.

I checked the ingredients on this against the ingredients in Pink Stuff and it simply stated it was a special clay with a lemon smell. I check the ingredients on Pink Stuff and saw that contained soap and many other things so I went for this one. Upon receiving I noticed the ingredients were as near identical to pink stuff so I now had two identical cleaners. I decided to do a test, one half of my grubby white sink with pink stuff & one with this item. Pink stuff won hands down so it appears I have spent money with little gain.
